Information about Mombercelli :
Mombercelli is well served with shops, bars and two small supermarkets, as well as an open air swimming pool. In addition to a number of good quality restaurants, there are several local food and wine festivals, including 'Cantina Aperta' on the third weekend in May, and a wonderful truffle festival in October. But if all of this sounds too strenuous, relax in the gardens at the Cascina with a glass (or a bottle) of our outstanding local wine, soak up the sunshine and enjoy the views.
Wine and Food:
There are many excellent restaurants, each with its own speciality, ranging from simple but delicious pizza, to traditional Piedmontese cuisine featuring a range of dishes made using only the freshest local produce, and accompanied by wine produced from the local vineyards.
Local Attractions:
For the more adventurous, there are mountains and National Parks to the north, and beaches to the south on the Italian Riviera, both about an hour’s drive away. Turin, the first capital of Italy, is a relatively undiscovered treasure, with a host of galleries and museums, wonderful cafés and delicious chocolate.
