Villa Magnolia is located in Sant’Agnello di Sorrento, in the Colli di Fontanelle village, 6km away from the centre of Sorrento and 9km from Positano.This fortunate location named ' Belvedere' has a breathtaking view on the Amalfi coast and Li Galli isles and Ocean.It's a large property that includes a nice private pool with partial view on Amalfi coast and a really nice and aimed garden.The Villa it has been recently remodeled. In the villa you'll find a large lounge with full equipped kitchen and a Flat TV 42', WI-FI, 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, one with Jacuzzi and the other with shower box. Outside there is a wide courtyard and a big porch with a wood-oven for Pizza and BBQ. You can try to make your own Pizza, or ask for a professional 'Pizzaiolo' to make it for you! In the garden you'll find sunbeds and umbrellas ready for your sunbathing and outside shower. Pool available middle may/middle Sept.

The house is 5 km (3 miles) away from Meta di Sorrento and the beach, 6 km (4.0 miles) from Sorrento and the beaches and 9 km (5.5 miles) from Positano and the beaches ( highly suggested beach). The nearest village 'Colli di Fontanelle' centre with shops and restaurants is 800 meters (half a mile) away. The bus stop is front to the villa, that's an almost exclusive stop for the villa's guests! Anyway the car is suggested. In the villa there is a Menu of the Restaurant ' Stelluccia' of Colli di Fontanelle, the guests can order by phone, and it will be delivery free of charge in few minutes, really cheap price and really good quality of local delicious food. The locations is one of the ' must' the villa is situated between Sorrento and Positano, at end of an ' end road' 10-15 minutes from Sorrento or Positano, in a quiet position faraway from traffic . The Villa is located 80 mt from Villa Miragalli, we can accomodate 2 party of family.

  • All prices are in euro; rentals are inclusive of maid service once a week. Price includes final cleaning, linen and towels, gas and electricity. Heating if needed euro 2.50 per hour, no others fees or taxes.
    Check-in after 4.00 pm - check out before 10.00 am or by different arrangement.
    To book the 25% has to be in advance by wire transfer, the rest 75% cash in euro at arrival.
    Security deposit: Euro 400, 00 (paid locally by cash) at the time of arrival.
    The security deposit will be refunded upon departure subject to any deductions for damage.
    Upon arrival at the Villa the property owner will ask you to present a copy of your passport and sign the inventory.

We went with my folks and our 2 toddlers, we had the best week ever staying here. The owners were sooo friendly and helpful and we even all got together one evening to eat pizza and drink wine outside while a pizziola man cooked our dinner for us, he comes highly recommended.

The garden is fully enclosed which helps with the little ones but just need to watch them near the pool obviously :)

We rented a car which is a must really if you have a kids and a buggy to lug around.

Can't fault our holiday at all we will definately go again in the future as we loved it so much.

Lovely holiday, pool and garden were great

Our family had a great time in this villa and seeing the sights of the Sorrento area. The accommodation is a bit basic but perfectly clean. There is no air-con so it gets a bit hot at night. The electric gates are a bit tempremental so just persevere. The pool area is particularly great and the kids loved it. Pack your own tea towels as none are provided! Also don't attempt to drive more than 10 metres down the driveway, you will never get out (believe us!). Wi-fi connection is good. Suggest you get the train to Pompeii from St Agnello (park in the multistorey car park 3 mins walk from train station) the train is cheap and regular and the stop at Pompeii is only a 5 min walk from the ruins. There is a small mini market in the village but the nearest supermarket that we could find of any size was in Pompeii although you will need your car to get to it. All sights are great although trip up Vesuvius was a bit disappointing - they could make so much more of it. We hired a boat and skipper for the day to go around Capri and although a bit expensive it is only marginally more than an organised tour. Ask Bruno for details.
12 year old child says to tell you that the ice cream is delicious.
Hope you have as good a time as we did. Recommended.

We had some issue with the electric gate, now the gate it work pefectly and...there are more tea towels.

To future guests... there are really well furnished Supermarkets in Sorrento you do not need to go in Pompeii 28km away !!! Anyway the Minimarket located 700 mt. from the villa is very well furnished.

Great property. Spent a week here with 2 young children and had a fantastic time. Supermarket, Restaurants near by. Very handy location for seeing Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.
