lovely location and homely apartment

we stayed for only two nights with our daughter and elderly mother. The apartment was nicely decorated, warm and very clean with everything you need as a family. Also, the flat is on the ground floor, so not at all difficult to enter with our elderly mother.
The area is second to none and the nearby attractions are really stupendous.
There were chocolates on our pillow too. Nice touch!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

good but...

this is a good accomodation but we noticed some little problems.
First of all: since the bathrooms are both without windows
would be appropriate for electric aerator worked!
Then it is true that there is TV but it does not work probably because of a failure satellite dish!
At last, we don' t recommend this apartment to those who can not sleep in lighted rooms because the blinds can't keep out the sunlight.
That said, we note also the kindness of the owner always available by phone.

My husband and three children stayed at the apartment July 2009.

The apartment was very clean, well furnished and tastefully decorated. Despite being on the ground floor, the building is very secure and the area is VERY quiet at night time, despite being very close to the centre of London.

This apartment is ideal for families or two couples.The only downside is the difficulty parking, but this was the same across the city. Virtually impossible unless your a London resident!

We'd like to say thankyou to the manager who came and showed us how to turn the oven on.;)

Great location

This flat is in a great location. Very close to the tube station. It was therefore easy to get to all the main attractions in London.

The flat is comfortable - we had 4 adults and 2 children staying and it wasn't too crowded. It was also a fairly quiet location.

There are a couple of nice pubs not far away and it's not far to walk to local shops etc.

The email response from the managers was ok.

We did have a few disappointments with the property compared with a stay in a similar property in Edinburgh the week before:

- there was only one set of keys to the flat which was a bit of a pain since we had two couples and really needed a second set of keys

- the bathroom did not have any toilet paper / soap - it would be nice to have enough for the first day at least

- there were not enough towels - only 4 bath towels for 6 people (we did manage to find one extra towel after hunting through cupboards)

- the extra pillows in the bedroom wardrobes did not have pillow cases on them

- the managers are not located in London so when we told them the kettle was broken they couldn't do anything except say that if we wanted to buy a kettle they would pay us back (we didn't bother)

-the bathroom drains smelled a bit sometimes

- the tv reception was terrible with only a few channels available on digital

Also be warned that the flat is on the ground level right next to the footpath so windows need to be shut and locked when you are out which makes the flat warm on a hot day. However they have fans for you to use - you will need them.

lovely apartment, great location, nice sheets!!

Our family (2 adults and three small children) stayed at this apartment at the beginning of may 2009.

The apartment could not be situated in a better location, being close to the underground, late night convienience stores and the the wonderful tate britain gallery only five minutes round the corner.

The apartment is clean, spacious and secure with nice furniture and lovely brand new sheets!

Highly reccomended!
