This Is A Non Smoking Unit.
This unit was purchased by the Fair family in 1976. It has been loved and cared for by the whole family for many years. If the walls could talk, they would tell tails of five children preparing to embark on new life challenges, the anticipation and birth of grand children, grand children growing up and playing hide and seek, games in the loft, putting on talent shows, putting puzzles together, having gentle conversations in front of the fire, eating big Christmas dinners, and decorating bikes for the 4th of July parade. But most of all the walls would say the family enjoyed family and friends on the patio, warmhearted family time in the living room, sipping cocktails, grilling and eating summertime dinners, telling stories, and cherishing quality time together.
Ken Fair purchased this condo in 1976

Enjoy one of the greatest wonders of the world....Lake Tahoe!
We stayed over the 2013 holidays and had a wonderful stay. This condo is in a large, nicely spaced upscale 1970s lakefront development, with an updated kitchen and fresh and clean throughout. The location is convenient, and the mile-long lakefront provides for beautiful walks. The condo is spacious, light, comfortable and well equipped. The owner was accommodating and easy to work with. We will definitely keep it on our list for a return visit, and recommend it highly.
The listing is very accurate, but does not describe the wonderful "homeyness" of this property. The property was not only clean and well maintained, but extremely welcoming and exactly what we wanted for the ideal Tahoe vacation. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative, but also recommend it to ourselves to return. The property was so welcoming that we did not go out to any restaurants. The kitchen was very well equipped and was ideal for a group of 9. All of the equipment worked and the minor issues were handled immediately by the owner. We played tennis at the courts 50 yards from the unit, we swam at the pool, we played volley ball, and even had the opportunity to play bocce ball. The lake was within walking distance. There is a protected sandy beach, a trail by the Lake, a wonderful patio for larger groups, and a dock with no lights from which we could watch the Milky Way come out. The grandkids loved it, as did the kids and the grand parents. We are going back. Ken is a great host and the unit has lots of memories, which you can feel.
My husband and I took our 4 grown children, one grandchild, and one dog, for a one-week vacation to this place and had a fabulous time. The condo was much larger than we anticipated and was very clean and very comfortable. It had all the amenities needed for an "at home" feeling and the location was perfect - close to the beautiful pool, lake, tennis courts, etc. There are plenty of things to do if you want to keep busy or if you just want to relax, this unit has privacy and is very quiet. We would definitely go back and recommend it to friends and family. The owner was easy to reach and very helpful.
It is an end unit, which I really love. It was private and quiet. I can let my son ride his scooter around the property and not worry about him because the property is gated and very little traffic. My son loves to go down to the lake, play in the sand and sit on the pier and watch the fish.
We'll be back!
We stayed at this Chinquapin location over the Winter Holiday (Dec.20th-26th) with our 3 children. The accommodations were homely and more than adequate. The whole family felt welcomed by the community as well as the large home.
We cant wait for our next stay there and will most likely invite another family to join us as the living space would comfortably fit two families with children. We cant wait to see it in the Summer time!
