A beautiful, spacious, well equipped apartment situated in the exclusive resort of Pjescana Uvala, Josie's Apartment has all you need for a relaxing seaside holiday. The apartment is situated just a couple of minutes walk from the local beach,the marina, and 2 of Istria’s most renowned restaurants (Valsabbion and Vela Nera). It has has 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin, sofabed in dining area), bathroom with bath, bidet, shower, washing machine. well-equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area and wonderful 45m2 terrace for outdoor living. The terrace (with dining table, chairs, loungers, barbecue) has a covered area, perfect for relaxing in the shade. As a base for would-be explorers, the location is perfect, with fascinating Pula and its Roman arena just 5 mins drive away, picturesque towns of Rovinj,and Porec and the myriad delights of Istria's east coast are within easy reach. Hilltop towns (e.g Motovun Groznjan) are also absolute absolute must sees during your holiday.

Pjescana Uvala is a beautiful small beach resort set between two peninsulas, 5 km from Pula, in Istria. The apartment is situated just a couple of minutes walk away from the beach, so ideal for a pre-breakfast swim. The marina, and also 2 of Istria’s most renowned restaurants (Valsabbion and Vela Nera), along with several bars and tavernas are also just a few minutes walk away. As a base for would-be explorers, the location is perfect, with fascinating Pula and its Roman amphitheatre on the doorstep, the picturesque west coast towns of Rovinj and Porec and the myriad delights of Istria's east coast are all within easy reach. Hilltop towns such as Motovun and Groznjan are also absolute must sees during your holiday. Closer to home, a couple of minutes drive from the apartment is the Verudela Peninsula which has some lovely beaches and coastal walks, plus sporting activities such as diving, tennis, volleyball, squash. There is also an aquarium and playgrounds for younger guests.

Please note that the apartment is approached by a number of steps to the side of the building - they are not steep but this does mean that the apartment is not suitable for those with walking difficulties The kitchen has everything you could possibly need during your stay - a full oven and gas/electric hob, fridge freezer, filter coffee maker, cafetiere, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, oven ware, salad spinner, dishwasher etc.. We also provide an iron and ironing board should you need one during your holiday. There are plenty of novels, travel guides, maps, cds and DVDs for our guests to make use of during their stay. For younger guests we have a travel cot, playpen, high chair and basic stroller for guests to use. You will need to provide your own bedding for the travel cot.

Perfect apartement for exploring the Istria region. The huge terrace is absolutely wonderful! A perfect spot for breakfast in the morning with a clear view of all the activities on the Adriatic Sea, and relaxing with a glass of Rosé watching the sun settle in the cool evening.

The immidate surroundings had all the basics we needed. A local rocky coastline with exciting snorcling opportunites sufficed for the day and restaurant in all price classes for evening activities

By renting a bike we got to Pula and other very nice beaches nearby. With a car the whole Istria with it's blend of Italian and Croatian culture was within half a days reach.

We would recommend this apartement for an active vacation where the base has to be comfortable, or just for staying at the terrace reading, sunbathing and really get down into idle mode.

Splendid location, beautiful views

Wonderful location in a quiet area very close to the beach (only 5 minutes walking). The appartment's been fully equipped, very comfortable and spacious. The views from the large terrace were unforgettable.
I would definitely go back there again. Not easy to find such a high quality accomodation in such panoramic location. I honestly recommend it to anybody who likes calm and sofisticated places.
