Charente Vacation Rental farmhouse: Segonzac

This lovely farmhouse sits perched above Segonzac (the capital of Cognac's Grande Champagne region) with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The owners, Marc and Michele, are in the Cognac business and have done a truly first rate job converting part of their farm into wonderful family accommodation for five. We are placing this ad on their behalf slightly reluctantly as we normally rent this property ourselves during the summer when we vacate our own largish local property (number 52896 on this site) to make way for guests. We are often asked how we can stand to leave our own home and this farmhouse is the answer. Sadly we will be out of the Charente this summer and are therefore sharing our secret. La Reserve is wonderfully furnished (with a properly equipped kitchen unlike most gites!) and maintained and far and away the best of the many places we have rented ourselves. The views from pool & terrace are just stunning. Short walk into charming Segonzac.
