About Mark Whitmore
We began visiting the Geneva-on-the Lake area about eight years ago when the lodge first opened and we feel in love with the beauty of the area. On one of our trips we stayed at the Lake House Inn and Winery and wondered if we could find a place to visit often. This led us to the Sturgeon Point condos and finally condo ownership. Over the years we have enjoyed many highlights at the condo including watching the Tall Ships sail right passed our condo on the way to Cleveland and then seeing them again when they returned to Erie.
Mark Whitmore purchased this condo in 2006
Why Mark Whitmore chose Geneva-on-the-Lake
You will loved the property. The lake views are gorgeous. You can enjoy the lake year round. Each season presents new sights to marvel at. The winter is particularly dramatic when the lake freezes. Large slabs of ice lay on top of each other and the color of the water takes on a particularly intense blue hue. You can look out at the winter scene, with the fire in the fireplace keeping you warm and cozy, and the wineries and Lodge stay open year round to offer entertainment and enjoyment.
What makes this condo unique
The condo is situated such that everything is within walking distance. There is a wonderful 15 mile bike and walking trail (in the winter it is used for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling) that you can walk to from our condo. It is an easy walk to the Strip during the season, which has everything from fine dining to casual meals, game arcades and miniature golf to keep your family occupied and numerous music performances.
