Thise delightful house has been recently renovated to an extremely high standard. It is just a two minute walk into the centre of Mirepoix to all major amenities and soak up the festive atmosphere. The house has two bathrooms/shower rooms and all kitchens are fully equipped. It has its own terrace, garden and BBQ area. There is also baby equipment, a baby sitting service and some catering if required. Mirepoix is close to several major airports (Carcassonne 30 mins, Toulouse 1hr, Perpignan/Montpellier 1hr30 and Barcelona 2 hrs). The TGV and cartrain also come down to Toulouse.

Nestled at the base of the Pyrenees, Mirepoix is a central location for numerous tourist adventures. There are a wide range of vineyards to explore, the Cathar Castles, trekking, climbing or riding (bike/horse) in the Pyrenees, relaxing by the beaches of Narbonne or the lakes of Puivert and Montbel. There are also the beautiful towns of Carcassonne and Toulouse as well as boating trips down the Canal du Midi. For those who enjoy water sports there is canoeing, rafting, sailing and wind surfing. The town offers some of the best pastries and chocolates around as well as some superb restaurants run by highly acclaimed chefs.
