An exceptional property in the heart of the bucolic Mt. Newton Valley. This private 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1400 sq. ft. suite is attached to a luxurious country home, with spectacular 180 degree views over the pastoral Mt. Newton Valley, through to Brentwood Bay, and as far as the Olympic mountains of Washington.

Our comfortable suite has been designed with attention to detail. From the moment you open the gate into your private Courtyard and enter the courtyard suite we know you will feel welcome. Your suite has a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room, Persian rugs, fine linens, exquisite bedding, many dining options, a private patio with magnificent views of the valley, ocean and mountains and many extra amenities. We have tried to anticipate your every need. Totally private from each other, the bedrooms allow two couples to each have their own private area.

The magnificent gardens surrounding the home may be enjoyed from your private balcony or courtyard.

Enjoy the fireworks at Butchart Gardens each Saturday evening throughout the summer months from your private Patio or simply take in the spectacular view.

Upon your arrival you will be greated with a Welcome basket full of the bounty of our valley. Fresh organic eggs , bread, preserves , pasta and sauces, BC VQA Wine and other delights.

Heathwood is unique in its location in the beautiful Mt. Newton Valley. So close to the Brentwood bay ferry, which will take you over to Mill Bay, you can drive to the North end of the Island and enjoy the many spectacular views along the way.

tours, the wonderful local beaches, local artists galore and so much more.

The famous Butchart Gardens is a 5 minute drive.

The Brentwood Inn, and Spa is a 3 minute drive, Well worth

pampering yourself. They also offer an excellent Sushi bar

overlooking the ocean

The town of Sidney-by-the-sea, is10 minutes away, enjoy the many unique stores, and delightful restaurants by the ocean.

The city of Victoria, with its many attractions, is a very easy 15 minute drive.

Absolutely Magnificent

From the moment you drive into Heathwood you feel at home. Every comfort has been thought of and provided with exquisite detail everywhere. So well located, we had easy access to everywhere. We will definitely be back! Having owned and operated a B&B we can unequivacally say this is a wonderful establishment. Our hosts were amazing, the location perfect. Thank you for providing such a lovely home away from home.

Another amazing vacation

Just spent another amazing time at Heathwood. The owners here have thought of everything. You can go to buy fresh fish and cook it on the barbecue. We had a wonderful evening having a late dinner on the patio and watching the fire works from Butchart Gardens while sipping wine. Life doesn't get much better than that.
There is a washer and dryer in the suite. What a treat to come home with clean clothes instead of having to end a vacation with emptying a suitcase full of dirty clothes.
The owner's Jacqui and Ollie are delightful people and very helpful and friendly.
Sydney is a wonderful little town and fun to browse thru. The inner harbor is a busy active area and has a few great restaurants. You can also go whale watching from there. Amazing to drive up the west coast highway for the day.
All in all had a wonderful time and look forward to going back again.

You will love this property and suite

My friend and I were very fortunate to learn thru friends of this rental. We were the first to stay here, how lucky. What a beautiful spot. The bedrooms are totally separate and private and each has its own bathroom. We had great weather and were able to use the BBQ and the patio in front to have our dinner. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might want and they have made sure you have lots of candles if romance is on your menu. This is an amazing private property.
There are several restaurants in Brentwood Bay and Sydney is wonderful with it's little shops and restaurants. You will love staying here. We will definitely be back.
