Silverthorne Condo Rental Photos and Description
'Mont Maison', a mountain home with views in three directions, is a cozy two bedroom, two bath condo nestled high above Silverthorne, in the Wildernest Area, in the heart of Summit County. It is a short drive (10 - 30 minutes) to seven premier ski resorts: Copper, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Loveland, Vail and Beaver Creek as well as three cross country ski areas in Frisco and Breckenridge. Surrounded by National Forest area, local trail heads to Eagles Nest, Lilly Pad Lake and Buffalo Mountain are just a half mile away.
In the summer, you are close to superb hiking, biking, fishing (in Lake Dillon and the renowned Blue River), kayaking , rafting and horseback riding. Gourmets will welcome the fine restaurants in Dillon, Frisco, Breckenridge (our favorite is Blue River Bistro) and Keystone (including the famed Alpenglow Stube, a AAA Four Diamond Restaurant). The numerous cultural events during the summer--jazz and blues festivals, the Bravo! Music Festival in Vail, the International Dance Festival in Vail, summer stock in Dillon, juried art fairs--are some of the many activities available during the months of June -- September.
From the south-facing balcony of Mont Maison you'll have breathtaking views of Buffalo Mountain and the Ten Mile Range. The condo can sleep 2 -- 5 persons. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, the second bedroom has a queen-size bed and the living room has a queen-size sofa-bed.
The living room features panoramic views of the mountains, a toasty gas fireplace and stereo system. The kitchen is completely outfitted with all utensils, a microwave, coffee grinder, coffee maker, blender, Cuisinart, KitchenAid Artisan mixer and basic commodities (sugar, flour, salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegars, spices, etc.). The living room and master bedroom each have cable TV and a DVD player, while the second bedroom has a TV and desk for your laptop. Quality bedding (600-thread count sheets), fluffy towels, paper goods, and liquid soaps are provided. As a bonus, a washer and dryer (including laundry soap) as well as free wi-fi are part of the condo. Watch Hill is one of few condos complexes with an elevator making this a breeze for persons with disabilities and those adjusting to the high altitude. Down the hall are both an indoor and outdoor hot tub. Think hot tubbing in the moonlight in all seasons!
Note that to protect those with allergies, this is a non-smoking home and that no pets are allowed.
The free year-round Summit County shuttle bus stops down the street and takes you to the nearby ski resorts, nearest grocery store, and outlet shopping at the fifty-one Silverthorne Factory Stores.
Unlike other condos, we do not charge an additional clean-up fee for rentals of six days or more.

Why Mark Horowitz, Nance Horowitz chose Silverthorne
We have vacationed in Summit County over the last few years, and dreamed of having our own place, that reflected our environmental and aesthetic values and attention to detail in design. We found it in the Watch Hill condo complex. We have re-decorated and refurnished the condo and would love to share this comfortable retreat with you.
What makes this condo unique
Watching distant storms roll over the mountain peaks is one of life's pleasure. We love the warmth and coziness of this place in the winter and the cool mountain breezes on the summer nights--no need for air conditioning in the mountains! This is a quiet place just about as far away from the noise of I70 as any in Wildernest. Think: the only sound you hear is the breeze.
