Its eclectic lodge style with a mix of antique touches and modern amenities will have you enjoying all the comforts of home while indulging in a wilderness getaway right here in the beautiful Seeley-Swan Valley of Western Montana!

This is a spacious log cabin that greets you with a tastefully-appointed rustic atmosphere in a spectacular tranquil setting. With comfortable accommodations for up to eight guests, featuring an expansive enclosed loft bedroom with two double beds and two twin beds along with a spacious main-floor master bedroom boasting a restful queen bed.

The convenience of a fully-equipped modern kitchen and large great room with a flat screen HDTV, DVD/VCR, satellite and gas fireplace beckons you to this cozy retreat. Additional creature comforts like the shower, extra sitting room and full laundry will make your stay as comfortable as being home. To inspire your relaxing, a quaint loft overlooking the great room is complete with a massive recliner and an antique rocking chair to kick back, nap, dive into one of many books from our library or enjoy a board game.

Outside, you will enjoy rocking on the large covered deck while the tranquil sounds of the creek ease you from steps away. There is plenty of space for play in the large grass area that features a fire ring for warmth and storytelling to cap your day of outdoor adventures at any one of the nearby streams, lakes, golf courses, or hiking trails.

The Trapper’s Place Cabin is conveniently located in the middle of the Seeley-Swan Valley being served by Missoula International Airport - just over 1 ½ hours from the south, and the Glacier Park International Airport - just under 1 ½ hours from the north. You'll have no trouble finding something to do in the abundance of lakes, streams and trails all through the valley including our year-round creek right off the deck of the cabin, Piper Creek, and the Swan River just walking distance away. The Seeley-Swan Valley boasts world-class fishing, hiking, and even golf, galleries and fine dining, all within a short distance of the cabin. Take in the magnificent wonder of the Glacier National Park, a scenic 75-mile drive to north. No doubt, you'll find plenty to do.....

But you just may want to sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet at the cabin, either way you'll be glad you came.

We stayed 3 nts at the trapper's place cabin and I must say the experience was excellent! Was a very comfortable cabin in a quiet, beautiful setting. The owners provide many creature comforts and the entire cabin was sharp and clean, clean, clean!! Also, the owners are VERY friendly and helpful. Overall wonderful experience.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
