Welcome to our personal vacation home! I (Alex) have just finished a remodel inside the home, and am putting the finishing touches on the outside, including new landscaping.
Our newly remodeled single story home is over 2200sq/ft, and has three (3) bedrooms and three (3) bathrooms. The house currently sleeps 8, and has one King, one Queen, one Double, a Double futon, and Two Twin beds.
We have an onsite client service manager who oversees my property while I'm out of town, and is happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
The kitchen has just been remodeled from the ground up. The granite counter topped cherry shaker style cabinets rest on a high quality travertine tile floor. All the stainless steel appliances are brand new as well.
In the back yard there's a 27' pool, and newly remodeled in ground hot tub. The cabana next to the pool has a 3/4 bathroom with a shower.
Commercial grade recliner chairs are available so you can comfortably soak in the sun. The pool is surrounded by a fence to protect children and pets.
For your added protection, I've just added a new security system which you can arm while home or away, and the password is randomly generated by our on-site client service manager for each new guest.
The large covered back patio by the pool has a built-in gas grill, sink, and a 4 top table and chairs.
We're Alaskans who have slowly become more and more cold blooded over the years. This property is our personal warm weather retreat during the winter time.
I (Alex) was born and raised in Anchorage, AK, and have spent most of my life up there. I did my undergraduate at the University of Alaska Anchorage, and went to the University of Washington for graduate school.
I love traveling and visiting new places. During my free time when I'm not thawing out in Las Vegas, I enjoy scuba diving, motorcycles, soccer, and traveling abroad. I've been to almost 50 different countries, and have had a chance to stay in quite a few vacation rentals. I really enjoy meeting new people, sharing memories, and creating new experiences.
Since this is our personal home away from home, we've set it up to accommodate us accordingly. The location is excellent, and allows for a short drive to most major attractions. Our home sits in the historic district, and most of the neighbors have lived on our street for years, if not decades.
The neighbors are friendly, and the neighborhood is very quiet. It's a great place to spent time relaxing, while still being a short drive to the less-than-quiet parts of Las Vegas.
In a city that has mostly cookie-cutter properties, this home and neighborhood stand out. We love the single floor layout, and the large private back yard. There's a 27 foot long pool in the back yard, and a brand new in ground hot tub is being installed as I type this.
The house has everything you need in the house, including Direct Tv, 10mbps internet with WiFI, a security system with a code created just for you, and an onsite client service manager to handle any questions or issues that may arise, plus all the normal home amenities.
All you have to do to enjoy this house is bring yourself, a friend (or 7) and a toothbrush. A welcome packet will point you in the right direction for attractions, groceries, and the like.
Our beautiful, newly remodeled vacation home is located in the heart of the Art/Historical district. All drive times are based on Google Maps driving directions.
