Details for Chalet Skalka 9 Bedrooms, Sleeps 18, 6 Bathrooms

Chalet boasts nine large double bedrooms and six spacious bathrooms accommodating up to 18 people. There is under floor heating throughout the chalet. The Downstairs bathrooms have a shower while the upstairs bathrooms have a luxurious bath tub perfect to relax in after a long day on the slopes. All nine bedrooms have two single beds with storage, bedside tables, lamps and a chest of drawers, while the master bedroom benefits from a beautiful table with rattan chairs. The Kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, electric hob, ceramic sink and dishwasher. The Living room includes sofas, freeview TV and DVD player. The Dining area has a table and chairs and enjoys the natural light from the French doors opening out onto the the beautiful terrace with an outside yet sheltered log fire which is ideal for all year round use. There is a bar available exclusively to our cottage guests, ideal for get togethers, small weddings or birthdays.

Nearest Train: Vrutky at 2 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Zilina at 27 Kilometres
Nearest Barpub: On the same land, for Chalets quests only at 3 Metres

The Chalet is situated at the end of town, on the edge of the beautiful forest. No traffic passes through, yet the town centre is 20 mins walk and the shopping centre is 5 mins drive. The nearest ski lift is 400 metres from the Chalet, ideal for beginners or recreational skiing with blue runs. Kids (some adults) can enjoy sledging, horse-riding or snow fights on the field and hill behind the Chalets. There are 3 other ski resorts for more experienced skiers within 15 km with further 3 within 25 km. Some offer crèche and all of them have ski hire and ski schools. For really adrenaline seekers skiers/snowboarders there is Martinske Hole. For those who also like to relax there is a thermal spa just 30 min drive with thermal pools outside and inside in whole year round. We can also book you a massage or mud, chocolate or honey wrap. Other activities include husky, ice skating or visiting one of many beautiful Slovakian castles.
