Adorable little cottage in the heart of the Carneros District of the Napa Valley. Located on organic farm; with horses, chickens, dogs, etc.; running creek out back. Very quiet & secluded; minutes away from downtown Napa & Sonoma; lots of wineries in the immediate area. Keep in mind, this is a farm property! A place to slow down, ride a bike, take a hike, drink wine, and eat good food and just slowwwwwwwwwwwww down for a bit!!!
I am a working chef/gardener/caterer. I grow many organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs on the property. My hens are laying hens and produce the best eggs in the west!
The property is totally unique. The location of the little casita is quiet and very private. Please go by reviews!
Great location; walk to the Boonfly Cafe for brunch. Ride bikes to neighboring wineries; i.e. Etude, Ceja, Saintsbury, Domaine Carneros.
My husband and I stayed here for our 20th anniversary vacation and we LOVED it! The casita is rustically charming and adorable. The bed is so comfortable and Kelley is a fun and gracious host. We are planning to come back next year! We can't wait!
I stayed at the Funny Farm for two night when I went up to Napa to run in the Napa Valley Marathon. I wanted to stay close to town but also bring my dog and the Farm was perfect. Kelley was an amazing host and the Cottage was so homey. My city dog loved the farm and I enjoyed napping on the outside futon couch in the afternoon. We were walking distances to a couple of wineries so that was convenient as well. Hope to be back in the future!
My wife and I had a great time staying with Kelley. She is a wonderful host and the Funny Farm is special.
My wife and I were on the tail leg of our honeymoon and we could not have asked for a more perfect place! We loved the Funny Farm and Kelley was very accommodating. It was a quick drive to Napa center and to several of the surrounding wineries. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to get away for a couple of days. We will definitely come back soon! PS - the bed was incredibly comfortable!
The Casita was our home base for a fantastic 5-day trip in Napa. While it is at the southern end of the Valley, we didn't find it inconvenient -- with easy access from the Bay Area, and at the cross roads going to both Napa and Sonoma. The cottage is small, but more than adequate for two people. And the outdoor porch is perfect for morning coffee. Kelley was a terrific host, evening sending us a forgotten item. Highly recommend!
