Newly updated 3 br - 2 ba lake front home in a quiet well-maintained subdivision on the southeastern side of the lake - 65 minutes from downtown Dallas. Great location for fishing, boating and jet skiing. Private boat launch. Beautiful sunsets.
We came to Cedar Creek lake in 1998 as weekenders, and now live at the lake full time, commuting to Dallas to work.
Angie Rhodes purchased this house in 2012
We waited five years to buy this house from our friends who sold to relocate. It's completely updated with a huge kitchen and living room, nice sized bedrooms and lake views from most rooms. The yard is shaded by mature pine trees and the neighbors on both sides are long term full time residents.
Perfect location at opening of wide cove. Lots of full time residents in quiet neighborhood. The view from the long porch and yard is stunning. It's easy to get on the water with the private community boat ramp nearby. Even when you're in the kitchen you have great views of the lake activity. The place feels instantly like home.
10 of us stayed here last summer and the lake house was absolutely perfect. It's kids friendly too. We hope to return every year. Perfect!
We stayed here for about a week and had fell in the love with the place. Great home on the lake! We spent every morning having coffee on the dock and the days floating in the water and playing in the yard and on the patio.
Seven of us spent 5 nights here over July 4th and had such a great time. The weather was absolutely perfect as was the house. Definitely recommend this place to all as it is perfect for any small gathering of friends or family. I don't think you'll find anything nicer, it's perfect.
We had the most wonderful time! The house was perfect. Huge kitchen and lots of space for everyone. The patio was perfect too!
We had a group of friends from school over 50 yrs ago.It was a great time to reflect and do a little fishing. We are planning on doing it again.
My 5 girlfriends and I spent two wonderful days at this beautiful property in May 2014. The house is spacious, clean, and perfectly updated. We couldn't believe our luck! The back porch was the standout, with a peaceful, shaded view of the lake and multiple comfortable adirondack chairs. The kitchen was fully equipped--easily the nicest one we had rented in the last several years of our reunions. The beds were plentiful and comfortable and we were all able to have our own. The lake was too low for a rental boat, so we rented kayaks from AquaWorld and had a wonderful day of paddling (they deliver and pickup). To top it all off, I accidentally left some items at the house. The owner bent over backwards to get them back to me! We all agreed to make it back to this oasis!
