We have a beautiful home available in Central-West Boulder at the corner of 7th and Pleasant Street. We are about five blocks from Pearl Street, two blocks from hiking on Flagstaff Mountain, and a short walk to the University of Colorado. The house is stone downstairs, with a huge fireplace and a central room for hanging out with a large television, piano, and view over a garden lot to the east.
Bedrooms: The house has three bedrooms upstairs: one with a queen, another with a trundle, and a third with a bunk bed that is full-sized bed below and twin above. We also have a study downstairs with a full-sized loft futon and adjoining bathroom.
Bathrooms: One full-bath upstairs, and one bath with a shower near the loft downstairs.
Other Things: The house is child-friendly - you’re welcome to use our toys, bikes, scooters, basketball hoop, x-box, and sandbox. We also have a great patio with a grill that looks out onto an undeveloped lot with a mature garden. It is charming for entertaining and hanging out.
Rates: We have listed weekly and monthly rates. We generally have a four-night minimum and will have slightly higher rates for high demand times (holidays, graduation, etc.).
we stayed here for new years and loved it! the house is in a very quiet area, plenty of space, very clean, charming, and tastefully furnished. it's close to everything... plenty of hiking trails, coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, downtown boulder, etc.
we wish we could have stayed longer! hopefully next time.
My family of 5 rented this very comfortable home for 10 days during the summer. The location is perfect--walking distance to the Boulder Creek Path, the Pearl Street Mall, University Hill, Chautaqua and much more. The home had everything we needed: fully equipped kitchen, grill, large patio with plenty of seating, games, books, bikes for all of us, comfortable beds, and enough space for us to spread out. My daughters LOVED the tree house and spent as much time in it as in the real house. And I can't say enough about how wonderful the owners were to deal with. They fully and quickly answered the many questions I had as we prepared for this trip, they provided helpful information that made our trip more enjoyable, and they were VERY accommodating when we had a special request. We are very grateful to Jeff and Colleen for all their help and would highly recommend renting from them!
I rented this property for two nights only, but it was perfect for our needs. We needed a place to entertain a family from out of state. They have young kids. We have young kids. This was a great place to entertain the young ones and to have a place for the adult to talk. We really enjoyed the lit patio with is accessed though beautiful French doors. We had a fire in the fire pit and spoke late into the night. The décor was amazing. The owners spend some of their time in Brazil and their décor reflects this. It is vibrant and unique. It was a great place to entertain out of town guests!
We rented this home for two families to stay during a one week visit to Boulder! The owners were extremely easy to work with and responsive to our questions in advance and during our stay. I only wish I got a chance to meet them in person! We had a fabulous time hiking, biking, concert-going in Chautaqua, go-karting (with the kids AND adults), tubing down the creek, and enjoying the Boulder lifestyle. The house worked especially well for us because we had a handful of kids that could all sleep in one room. This property and a vacation in Boulder is highly recommended! One more thing, the owners told us that the tree house is available for sleeping, but upon parental inspection, our children did not get that luxury. :-) The kids did have fun climbing in the tree house however.
My cousins (5 of us total) stayed in this home for a family wedding weekend. The owners were wonderful, prompt communication, and gave us a food/coffee guide that was awesome. The walk to Pearl street took about 10 minutes, nice neighborhood, felt safe at night walking home as well. The house was lovely and interesting, beds very comfortable, quiet area, lots of books. The patio is spectacular and I wish we could have enjoyed that area more. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Boulder.
Nine of my extended family members--age 90 to 3 mos--gathered at this unique home for a summer holiday. The owners were extremely accommodating and helpful before our arrival, cautioning us about the house's features for little ones and the elderly. While the open wooden stairway to the second floor and a small loft-office and the stone flag flooring in the entry, were a little daunting for my elderly mother and toddler-grand-daughter, those would be my only reservations in recommending this property. Otherwise it was a wonderfully quiet home with a definitely European-feel, and many inviting features including a tree house and toys, books and games for youngsters and adults alike. It is within easy walking distance of downtown Boulder and numerous hiking trail heads including those at Chatauqua Park. We loved the outdoor patio with tiny tea-lights, just off the dining area--so beautiful in the evening and early morning. Unless a visitor wished to drive into the mountains, all essential amenities and entertainment were in easy walking or biking distance.

The house is located on a dead-end alley with a basketball hoop, bikes and scooters for your use, as well as a loft room with x-box. We also have a huge tree house that is safe and fun for kids - our kids like sleeping out there in the summer months!
