The School Year Ends: A Place to Catch my Breath and Become Recharged
Submitted: July 5, 2012

This wooded retreat gave me opportunity to soak up sun on the deck, walk the beach southward for miles, enjoy sunsets on the dock and become refreshed and recharged from a hectic academic year. We are so glad to have chosen this location. The listing was completely accurate and exceeded our expectations. My family (grown children in college and husband) and I enjoy coming together in this house, as there is room for all and accommodates our various needs in terms of those that want to sleep in and not be disturbed, those that want to use wifi, and those that want to cook and bake in an awesome kitchen.
There's also a great fire pit for late night fires, a dock for morning coffee, and so many hiking and biking trails that we always try at least one new one and continue to repeat our old favorites, such as CatHead Point. As well, we continue to try new places to eat in nearby Leland, but always go back to our favorite places like The Cove in Fishtown.
I could rest and relax here any time of year and would love to see each season. Thanks for creating a welcome home, clean and well-maintained. The peaceful surroundings are inspiring and we recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.
