If you are looking for a quiet peaceful getaway this is it. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. The cabin is comfortable and clean with beautiful views of the lake. The owners are extremely nice and the neighbors are great. The highlight of our trip was catching an 8 1/2 lb largemouth bass. Unfortunately the fish stopped biting after that. We tried several different types of bait and was finally able to catch some bluegill using bread with marshmallows to hold it on the hook. I loved watching the fish from the deck. I would throw some bread crumbs to attract them and then catch the bigger ones using the marshmallow dough
The only downside to this cabin is all of the steps. There are 2 sets of steps from the driveway to the cabin and another set down to the dock. There is one step up from the entry hall to the kitchen and more steps up to the living area. All of the steps makes it unsuitable for someone in a wheelchair or walking / knee problems.
