1 Bedroom luxury apartment, sleeps 2 - 3 in relaxed & comfortable surroundings.

Situated in Nell Gwynn House, an attractive art deco building on Sloane Avenue, between the shops of Kings Road and the museums of South Kensington, the apartment is finished to a very high standard, providing a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, with 24 hour porterage & your own kitchen area if you ever tire of the endless supply of excellent local restaurants.

Ideal for two, but a comfortable sofa bed provides an extra bed. It's light, airy, and a perfect place to base yourself for a business or holiday visit.

The apartment is situated on the fourth floor (with lifts) and benefits from double aspect windows and double glazing and very pleasant views, making it a sunny and pleasant place to stay.

I've lived in wonderful London all my adult life, but have now

moved to the South Coast of England, looking across the River,

and the Isle of Wight ferry. I still have lots of friends in London so use the apartment at Nell Gwynn House when it is occasionally not booked as my London bolt hole. I just love being there - the location, the peace, the lovely porters, and all the great feedback I get from guests staying there. The biggest compliment is how many people come back again and again and now call the apartment their 'London' home.

Convenient, easy to keep, 24 hour porters, elegant reception

and a well maintained block.

Its not unique, there are lots of flats and studios rented out in the block, but my apartment is a home as well as a rental property and

its important that guests feel that. Its very light, well maintained

and decorated and the location is just about unbeatable .....try it and see.....

Our near 2 week stay was perfect, even the weather!! This compact apartment was perfect for the two of us. Tessa is a very attentive owner & makes herself available for any problems. How close to transport do you want to be ? 5 minutes to a choice of Tube stations. How close to London? Two stops & you are there, close but without the hustle & bustle of the capital. We would love to come back again next year & will be booking early to avoid disappointment

Just the best location to stay in London. So close to public transport..metro stations Sloane Square and South Kensington both nearby. Lovely to walk in the summer months as well.
The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped for self catering.
A most enjoyable week's break in London. Thank-you Tessa, for being so quick with your responses to my emails.

I have booked Tessa's apartment for my wife and daughter who spent 3 weeks in London in July for Discovery Summer English language courses in Kensington. It was important for me that my Family would have stayed within this time in homey atmosphere and it was essential for my wife that the apartment is totally equipped for self-catering. Sainsbury's opposite was a great compliment to it.

Perfect location and walking distance to museums helped a lot in very hot July once they had only half-day time after classes to see around.

All what I can say is the flat totally matched my Family needs and
expectations so I never regretted the choice.

Tessa, the website name is 'homeaway', it is great you adapted it to be exactly the home away, very much appreciated and we definitely will be back, hopefully all together next time.

My third visit to Tessa's wonderful flat - my little bolt hole in London. I echo everyone else's previous positive comments as there's simply nothing negative to say. So, to reiterate it is clean, cosy and pleasant to stay in (so much nicer than a hotel) and the bed is really comfy. The staff at reception are helpful and responsive too. My favourite places to eat are Aubaine, Itzu and Pret within walking distance of flat. The location is fabulous sandwiched between South Kensington and Sloane Square underground stations, but there is a bus stop right outside the front door too should you want a more scenic route to your intended destination.
Thanks once again to Tessa, who is always a joy to deal with, I'll be back!

A Great Central Find.

We booked this apartment nearly a year before we stayed there.
Arriving two weeks before the Olympics  we knew it would be very busy.
This apartment in the Nell Gwynn building was perfect.It is so central to every were.Seven minute walk to the Victory & Albert Museum which is an amazing museum.
We bought a Travel card not the Oyster card for a week as you get some great deals two for one (not the London Eye any more)
There are lots of restaurants and pubs in the area. 
It is well presented and very clean.Tessa was very helpful and informative.When we are in London again we would love to stay here.
It's great having someone on reception you don't have to worry about been there at a certain time to gets the keys.
The porters were all ways very helpful and lent us some scales so we could weigh our luggage before we flew home. Many thanks Tessa we had a great stay at your lovely apartment.

Nell Gwynn House is just a few minutes walk from both South Kensington and Sloane Square Tube Stations, near all the tempting shops and restaurants of Knightsbridge ( Harrods), Sloane Street and the ever popular and cosmopolitan Kings Road, Walking distance to all the major museums (Natural History, Science and Victoria and Albert) and just a short train or bus journey (or a good walk) to the Royal Albert Hall, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park and many other attractions this wonderful City of London offers its visitors.

Other Activities: Theatres and cinemas, restaurants, museums, local Saturday international food market, sightseeing & shop till you drop - the location is FANTASTIC!
