The villa is in one of the most attractive positions in Aglou Plage, with stunning views. It has been beautifully and expensively furnished, not as a holiday rental villa but a truly wonderful home.
Lovely furniture, beautiful artwork, magnificent sea views from the Infinity pool.
This is the first time we have rented a private villa, always previously choosing hotels. It was the right decision. We chose to have a maid every day, who also cooked lunch and sometimes prepared a dinner for us, so the holiday was just as relaxing as a hotel. What made our decision the right one was the size of the villa, it was enormous! Much bigger than we expected. Also we met nice neighbours with whom we have become friends.
We loved the neighbouring town of Tisnit, and Mirlift, despite the rough road was delightful.
We would come again, next time for longer.
What an amazing holiday, the villa is beautiful, decorated to a very high standard all in keeping with the lovely Moroccan location. The house is fully kitted out with everything that you need and the rooms are huge. It sleeps 8 and it certainly would not be cramped if 8 people were to stay there. It's in an idyllic location with a lovely infinity pool overlooking the atlantic ocean. We had a lovely holiday with our little boy, visiting the local market town of Tiznit almost every day and the sleepy backpacker village of Merlift. We loved it so much we are going back this year and we cannot wait.
To top it off, we also used the cleaning service and the Moroccan lady cooked a fabulous meal for us. With a nearby fish market selling freshly caught crab, lobster and sea bass we were eating like a king for very little money!
The property was very clean and well maintained and was exactly as described on the website - in fact it was more amazing than we had imagined!
I would have given the property a 3 1/2 star rating if possible. The drawback of what would otherwise be a perfect beach villa is the very close proximity of the neighbors pool terrace. It is literally right on top of this units pool terrace. The properties are also slightly skewed so that they are angled towards each other, which amplifies the location issue. So in essence it is similar to a duplex because the neighboring unit is so close. As a result the pool area is not private, you can see and hear everything going on next door whether you want to or not. It has nothing to do with whether the neighbors are making excessive noise, the fact is that it doesn't matter. You will be a part of it all.
Also, at this time the complex is still under construction.
I would consider coming back to this complex after the construction is completed but I would not stay in this unit. There are other units in the complex which are much better situated in relation to other units, taking privacy and noise into account.
My business partner Phil had already stayed in this beautiful villa a couple of times, and had highly recommended it, so we thought we would get some winter sunshine and give it a try.
We weren't disapointed! The villa is huge, with a vast living dining area. Most days we would have lunch outside by the pool, fish from the local market.
The sea views are stunning, especially from the huge upstairs terace off the master bedroom, and it is wonderful to go to sleep with the sound of the waves.
Visits to Tisnit and Mirlift were a delight, and one day we drove to Marrakech
Like Phil we will be back!!
We have been to Aglou before in this lovely villa, and loved it, but this is the first time we have gone in winter. Weather was glorious, a bit nippy but we swam on Christmas Day.
The villa as last time was immaculate, the sofas are wonderfully comfortable and it is so nice to have so much room, the living / dining room is vast.
Eating outside every day was possible, including Christmas Day. No turkey this time, we had lobster caught by a local Fisherman.
Shopping in Tisnit as always was fun, the Souk and Market are amazing, but our favourite town is Tisnit. Lots of nice restaurants and little boutique galleries
What a delightful holiday! We had seen the pictures on the Internet but had no idea until we got there how lovely it was. The villa is vast, with a huge upstairs Terrace that enjoys, as indeed does the entire garden, anazing sea views.
Villa on our arrival was immaculate, and ready for us to enjoy our holiday which was very welcome after a long flight, Taxi pick up had worked very well, only an hour and a half from Agadir including a stop for booze, Tony had warned us to stock up.
The pool is a dream, and sitting around it enjoying a fresh sea food lunch was a delight.
We took Tony's advice and shopped for fish and seafood at the magical local market, an amazing bargain and fish straight out of the water, we went nearly every day.
Mirleft and Tisnit also great fun, lunch in les Trois Chameaux at Mirlift was a delightful experience.
Roll on next tear, we are comimg back.
