More info www.gregory.fi. Lapland is the ideal place to combine a relaxing holiday with some exciting winter activities. The perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Nestling in the fells of Central Lapland the unspoilt village of Luosto lies 90 minutes north of the Arctic Circle and offers an intimate encounter with the wilderness of Lapland. First class activities and accommodation are coupled with a stunning natural environment. The local ski slopes are great for beginners and will provide good entertainment for more experienced skiers. There is a range of activities on offer depending on the season and a selection of restaurants and hotels offering evening entertainment. A brand new pair of semi-detached log cabins, each with fully fitted kitchen, 3 bedrooms and loft (TV /games lounge with 2 beds) to sleep 8, wet room with spa bath and sauna. The cabins have been crafted out of massive silver pine (Kelo) logs up to 40cm diameter with ceilings of wide silver pine boards.

Open plan living room / kitchen: (40sq m) Part vaulted ceiling and stone fireplace, Modern well equipped kitchen, wall mounted flat screen TV, large triple glazed windows with integral blinds, spiral staircase and parquet floor. Wet room: Fully tiled with shower, spa bath, toilet and washbasin, mirror, power point and dimmable lighting Sauna: Adjoining the wet room Toilet: Fully tiled with washbasin cupboard, mirror and power point Bedroom: Two single beds, window with integral blind, parquet floor, Log store and terrace: (8sq m). Upstairs: (55 sq m): Two bedrooms: Each has two single beds (one bed in each cabin is extra large 120cm width) under floor heating Loft area: Two single beds. Loft also functions as sitting area and games room. (comfy sofa, 26” Flat Screen TV, PS2 games console and DVD player)

Nearest Airport: Rovaniemi Airport at 110 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Rovaniemi Railway Station at 115 Kilometres
Car: not necessary
By Air - There are daily flights to Helsinki from most European countries. There are also several flights from Helsinki to Rovaniemi (about 1 hour) on a daily basis. From Rovaniemi there is a possibility to continue to Pyhä-Luosto region by SkiBus, taxi or by renting a car. Driving to Pyhä-Luosto takes about 90 minutes. By Train - Travelling to Rovaniemi or Kemijärvi from southern Finland (10-12 hours) is easy, also with a car-carrier train. There are bus connections from both railway station (Rovaniemi and Kemijärvi) to Pyhä-Luosto (SkiBus), which leave immediately following the arrival of the train. By SkiBus - There is Pyhä-Luosto’s own SkiBus that transports holidaymakers to the area year round. During high season the bus drives four times a day and during lower season once a day.
