The apartment consists of two rooms, the bedroom and the living room, also equipped with a kitchen corner; a bathroom with a stall shower completes the picture. It is furnished with fine taste, also with some hand-made decorations. The living has a sofa, a desk, a TV and of course table & chairs, while the bedroom has a king size bed, a table light and a small wardrobe with drawers. It is a ground floor, overlooking an inner courtyard, therefore in a very silent location. Big windows and a french door provide light during the day; its position makes it cool during summer and warm during winter. It is located at walking distance from the Colosseum, with metro at 5 minutes and major bus lines very close as well, ideally located for a visit in the city center of Rome. The host speaks English, French and Spanish and will be pleased to provide you tourist information for a pleasant visit.

Located in the very centre of Rome, Colosseum is at 5 minutes walking distance, as well as the Roman Forum and Palatin. From here you can easily access all famous sights in Rome by walking or by taking a bus for few stations. Vatican is at 15 minutes with the bus.

Perfect Location & everything you need in Rome!

Great apartment, nice building. You even have your own little courtyard area. We were very pleased with the size and the comfort of the apartment. Also everything you needed was provided. Great owner also, gave us lots of help with directions, recommendations, etc etc.
The apartment is literally 1-2 minutes walk from the Colosseum, and everything else is in walking distance. The only thing we took the train for was the Vatican trip....

At 3-4 minutes of the Coliseum and the subway. Quiet distict, with free car place. The heartiest of welcomes awaited us. Very nice.

This apartment is in an amazing location. It has all necessary fetures and facilities for a comfortable stay. The owner provided great customer service and was very helpful with any questions we had about the apartment or the city. Great price

Rome Basement Flat

The stay at the flat was wonderful. Just as the description says it is central, easy to find, quiet, very clean and right on a wonderful garden. It is well appointed with everything you will need and a BIG bonus is the large fridge and freezer, great for cooking at home and for longer stays. Sadly as it is a basement it is somewhat musty.

There are only 3 downsides to the flat:
1: No Aircon, in the summer with just a fan VERY HOT
2: No wifi and the internet connection is not great and limited
3: The TV is not digital so there are very limited viewing choices and the picture is poor (but you don't come to Rome for the TV)

Michel was great and our overall feeling was a very good one in dealing with him.

I would suggest this flat to anyone looking for a budget rental in Rome.
Owner's Response: Thanks for your comments. Just a couple of comments from my side, the internet connection is a fast connection (the provider is called fastweb...), it's not wireless, but it's a DSL, not sure if you've used it. TV-side, you have come in a transition time, as starting July 1st most TVs switched to the digital, and I still have to buy the decoder; had you come a few days earlier the availability and quality would have been different. Ciao, until next time.
