Gorgeous 2-story log home with walkout basement to outdoor firepit. All glass facing lakeview. Perched high atop hill with wraparound deck for 360 degree view. Three bedrooms plus loft with pullout, sleep 6-8 easily. A view from almost every room! Master suite upstairs has 2 balconies and private bath with jacuzzi. And to the North-Agaming golf course 4-star rated by golf digest, 2-18 hole courses with beautiful views of torch lake. To the south acres of trees with trails for a relaxing hike. To the west bay sunset nightly. And to the east a gorgeous view of torch lake-National Geographic rated- '3rd most beautiful lake in the world'. Right in the middle of world famous cherry orchards -that supply cherries worldwide. A farm market at the corner of the street with u-pick or they will make many pastries & homemade pies daily-with fresh local fruit and vegetables daily. Also a local wine maker with several selections of white, blush and cabernet, with grapes grown right on their farm! For nightlife traverse city offers it all! Casinos, dining ,dancing, unique shops and many, many restaurants. Every village or town has a evening stroll -where they close the downtown blocks for a street fair - each town has a different evening each week. Enjoy the outdoor firepit, log swing, golfing, boating, swimming, hiking, biking, petosky stone hunting, wine tasting, casino hopping. Always something to do -or do nothing at all!

After visiting with family many years decided to build a log home with acres to get the true feel of the 'up north' experience! After going to the area more than 25 years-still have things to do that are unique and ever rewarding. Whether its watching the deer from the front porch, the festivals, fairs and art shows. The nature areas and beaches-i still have many things yet to do. Never the same trip twice!

Everything you could desire is less than an hour away!!!! Day trips to Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petosky, Bay Harbour, schuss mountain, shanty creek, harbor springs, crystal mountain, Alden, Elk rapids, & the sand dunes are amazing. And even one of the last remaining drive inn movie theaters also not to far away!

Gorgeous Public Beach on Torch Lake access near, Gorgeous sugar sand Bayfront Beach access right in downtown Elk Rapids (9 miles south) which also has evening strolls every week, farmers market, many excellent restaurants and unique shops. Boat Launch 1/2 mile away . Golf courses-2 right across the street at end of driveway! Nature trails all around with deer visiting almost every night right in the front yard! Also located right In the middle of Traverse City, Charlevoix, Bay Harbour and Petosky-less than 25-50 minutes either way. Sunsets from private sunset balcony off Master Suite. Wraparound deck with 360 view. Loft with view. Two Private balconies off upper level master suite. View of Golf Course from front porch. Casinos, nightlife. Boating, biking, hiking, swimming, fishing,shopping, restaurants. wine tours, Or do nothing at all! Waterfront dinng at Riverwalk Restaurant a must. Or choose Pearls New Orleans Kitchen-fun Mardi Gras atmoshphere. Or fine dining at The Blue Pelican, or The Rowe Inn. Signature Whitefish fine Dining at Terrys in Charlevoix.

Elk Rapids has natural lazy river, near the library at the Beach in downtown-nice place to relax or let the kids play! Everything to do or nothing at all! ENJOY!

Great winter get-away

Just returned from a New Years weekend celebration at this great property. While we were not able to enjoy many of the outdoor activities (Golf, Water sports, Etc.) we still had a wonderful time. What a fantastic view! Many nice comfort features - felt right at home. Travers City is just a short drive away and offers something for everyone in the group.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
