Guestbook comments from the owner
Thank you for you hospitality. This suite- so well appointed, open and spacious, cozy and welcoming was just what we needed during the trials of the last week.
Your kindness, baking cookies, card and the loan of your printer, were well beyond expectations of a host. Even Graeme's jokes were some joy in the midst of sadness.
We wish you all the best with your repairs.
These acts of human kindness especially when we are so far away from our own supports made the week bearable
Graeme and Helga Farquharson
We have lived in White Rock since 1985 and are local business people. Helga has been a realtor since 1977 and Graeme a travel consultant since 1986. In 2010 our nest became empty so we are sharing our unique setting.
Our home backs onto a 26 acre nature park with over three miles of hiking trails and year round streams. Many different species of birds as well as wild rabbits, racoons and squirrels roam the area and frequently visit our feeders. The view is ever changing.
We love to sit and watch the sail boats in the bay or the kite surfers at play. Paddle boards are the latest rage here as well as the kayak school in the evenings. There is always something to see.
