La Boulègue is situated in the small hilltop village of Castéra Lectourois. It has uninterrupted views over the undulating hills of the Gers countryside as far south as the Pyrenees. The house comfortably accommodates 12 to 14 people in 6 bedrooms, 5 of which have a modern en-suite bathroom with a spacious shower and WC, plus an additional 6th bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, WC and sauna. The inside has kept its authenticity with old oak beams and thick stone walls; walls which keep the house pleasantly cool in the summer. The attractive enclosed garden with its 8m x 4m swimming pool together with the covered terrace offers the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday.

La Boulègue is situated in the heart of the Gers, a region of Gascony in South West France. The region is well known for its fine cuisine of duck, foie gras, prunes and its Armagnac. Gascony is also famed for wine. Several local vineyards provide excellent wine and armagnac tasting. The thermal town of Lectoure is just 5 minutes drive away with all the necessary shops, bakers, cafés and restaurants. There are many interesting places to visit such as the fortified villages of Fourcès and Larressingle, also there are local events all year such as music and flower festivals. There is a market for every day of the week and, throughout the summer, there are night markets, 'vide greniers' and 'brocantes in the nearby towns. The area offers a variety of activities including golf, cycling, thermal spa, boating and even hot air balloon rides. There is also the Walabi aqua Park just 20 minutes drive away in Agen.

Additional information about rental rates

  • TERMS OF PAYMENT FOR RENTAL
    A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a booking. The remaining 75% must be paid eight weeks prior to the start of the rental period.

    SECURITY DEPOSIT
    A security deposit of £400 is required to cover any damage to the property, breakages or additional cleaning/preparation required. This needs to be paid at the same time as the 75% balance, ie eight weeks prior to the start of the rental period. The security deposit, less any deductions for damage, breakages or additional cleaning, will be refunded within four weeks of the end of the rental period.
    The owners' experience is that under normal conditions, there should be no need to hold back any of the deposit.

    A clear and detailed rental agreement will help to ensure a trouble free holiday.

    A small amount of cleaning is also included upon departure.
