Located on the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, graced by the mighty Mackinac Bridge, everything is so accessible. You can walk to shopping, the historic Fort Michilimackinac or the Mcgulpin Point lighthouse or the Old Mackinaw Point lighthouse. Walk to Sheplers Ferry Dock and catch a ride to beautiful Mackinac Island for a step back in time. Horse-drawn buggies and bikes are the only forms of transportation there! Lots of great shopping and fine resturants. Hop on a bike or your snowmobile right from the cabin and access the great trails. Visit Taquamenon Falls, Oswald Bear Ranch, Whitefish Point, Saulte Ste Marie, Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Indian River - all within an hour. Some of Michigans finest sandy beaches are within minutes. If you enjoy casinos, there are 3 within 45 minutes! This is a great, year 'round destination. Fishing, birdwatching, kayaking, hunting, snowmobiling, eco-tours, boating, biking...The possibilities are endless!
