Situated just 4km outside of Funchal town centre, in a very good location for eating out and shopping. 10 mins drive and 40 mins walk into centre of town. Only 10 mins walk from shopping precinct Forum Madeira which includes supermarket, book shop, cafes, cinema, electrical goods shop, etc. Or you can just relax by the lovely infinity pool and admire the views over the Atlantic Ocean and Cabo Girao. This new first floor apartment is fully furnished, bright and airy, and comes with access to a fully equipped gymnasium, jacuzzi, steam room, children's play room and outdoor pool area. It has two parking spaces, lift access, and west facing balcony off the very spacious living room.

The property is located in a closed complex near the sea. Good location. Good bus service and bus stop just outside the main gate. On the oposite side of the road you will find a café which sells fresh bread and cakes every day, a fresh fruit & vegetables stall, farmacy, bank branch and video hire shop.

A Gorgeous Apartment

We stayed here in late August for 7 nights and loved it!
The apartment is huge and is extremely well equipped and new.
The swimming pool area is lovely and relaxing with a very good kiddies pool.
Angela was very helpful with the booking & her family who are based in Madeira were very welcoming when we arrived and were at hand if we needed them.
This is one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in & would highly recommend it to anyone.
As mentioned by the previous reviewer the only downside we could find were the steps and then small steep slope up to street level with the buggy. We diid not hire a car so had to do this daily to leave the complex. If you had a car there was an undergound parking space that you can get to by lift. Once out of the complex you had a bus stop outside to take you to Funchal and there were shops & restaurants only 10 minutes walk away.
So if you are looking for a comfortable, clean and luxurious place to stay then this is it!

Lovely apartment

This apartment suited us perfectly as a family with teenagers. The accommodation is modern and of a very high standard. It is tastefully decorated with a nice view from the balcony along the coast. It is spacious and all the facilities we needed were available. The pool and exercise room are of a reasonable size and when we stayed there in July it was quiet.
Parking in the car park under the apartment block was challenging on the first occasion (very tight spaces and un-used to LHD car) but it was OK when we got used to it. We also used the bus to get into central Funchal – there is a bus stop right outside the complex and a regular service. The climb up the hill from the apartment block to the main road is short but very steep and might be difficult for elderly people.
Communication with the owners was excellent both before and during the holiday.
We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to other holiday makers.
