Queen size bed in a newly renovated apartment on third floor (USA) of a large former farmhouse (restored in 1984). Two towers decorate the property dating from XVI century in the beautiful High Valley of Chevreuse near the Chateau of Versailles, just 40 minutes by RER train to Paris, or 20 minutes by car to Versailles or Rambouillet. Large family room, separate dining room and bathroom with shower. Fully equiped Kitchenette. Linens provided. Smokers are invited to do so outside only, no animals please. Washing machine and dryer facilities in main house. Soon to be available: dishwasher, TV (DVD), wifi internet. Rhodon Farm Domain is a 15 minute walk to the RER B train station or the nearest bakery, Catholic church, post office, etc. The grounds and woods are available for walks and picnics. Catering possible (see Capriosa Restaurant, Chevreuse). Orly Int'l Airport only 20 minutes by car.

The Rhodon Farm is located in the beautiful High Valley of Chevreuse Sanctuary and Nature Reserve Park. The Medieval castle of Chevreuse “Chateau de la Madeleine” houses the head offices opened to public. Many of the farms and churches in the region date back to before the eleventh century, although the stone buildings have often been altered. There are many wash houses along the Rhodon and the Yvette rivers. Until 1870, the wash house by the bridge in downtown Saint Remy on the Yvette River was also a drinking trough for horses. In 1893, the town conseil had a public wash house built there.
