Blue Bay, historically one of the first Bays named, now a marine reserve with an exceptional variety of marine

life and corals.Ideal for diving and snorkelling.From the jetty one can see the enchanting Coco island with its

restaurant.Trips can be organized by various speed boats at a nominal charge.Within three miles of

Blue Bay, one can find a number of fine restaurant with local and European dishes.A naval museum is 2 miles away,a must if you are interested in British history.Mahebourg waterfront is also quite splendid boasting views of Lion mountain and a distant ruin of a lighthouse approximately 9 miles away.Trips to the lighthouse can be arranged via speedboat.
