Beautiful villa with spoilt view of the lake

The villa is enormous house with all you need inside and outside of it. It is modern, stylish villa, with the garage (our car, VW Multivan, unfortunately, didn't pas in it in height), with the lift, wich was the most populair between our kids. The view of the Como lake would be yes indeed fantastic, if the building crane woud be, as promised, removed: the crane was daily in use, from 7.30 the workers have been already at work, making irritating noise. And the crane spoild really the picture of the lake. And the Happy Holydays office was surprised by this fact (without doubt the knew about it) and actually didn't do anything about it. I think they do mislead the clients every time on the web-site , promising no work-activities. But one week of the vacation is to short to spend it for claims and getting things right. There is much to do around Menaggio: visit neighbour-illages Varenna, Belaggio, Milaan, Lugano (Swiss). For families with kids The Jungleraidpark (not far fromBelaggio) is the perfect place to use the kids energy! As wel as for adults indeed! Menaggio is (in Europe view) not expensive, but buy beer and Coka Cola beter in the supermarkt and don't order it in the cafe: you will be scared by the price.The coffee is delicious and not expensive at all.The same: pizza, pasta.
So, if you decide to rent this property - get sure, that the crane is gone and no build-activities are around at this time.

Thank you for your comments, indeed Villa Panoramica is indeed a beautiful property.
In regards to the 'misleading' all of the guests we did send round an email informing all of our guest about the crane being present still. We were promised by the building company that the crane would be moved before August, but unfortunately with this being Italy this deadline was not met.
However as can be seen in the property description the price has been adjusted accordingly. I am very sorry if you did not receive this message, but it is our policy that everyone is emailed and this email would have been sent to the email address you supplied when booking.
We believe in ensuring that we provid the most accurate information about our properties and this can be seen when you enquire as on our website it is clearly stated about the crane.
