Had a great time in Fort Collins. Our daughter who will be a high school senior this year and two of her friends toured the campus and loved it. If she chooses CSU we will be back to stay for sure, great location!

COSY APARTMENT IN VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION

  • 5 of 5
I was a visiting academic at CSU for nearly a month during Sept/Oct 2012, and stayed in this apartment throughout. It's a very cosy apartment in a really convenient location, just 4 blocks from Coopersmiths and all the other attractions in Old Town, and a couple of blocks from the CSU main campus. Restaurant 415 was 2 blocks away and a fantastic place for lunch or dinner.
The apartment is well furnished and has everything that a single person or couple would need for a comfortable stay (iincluding wifi, flatscreen TV and a DVD player). The kitchen and bathroom are VERY compact (!) but perfectly adequate. The heating made the place very cosy as the Fall weather got colder, and there was parking available on the road directly outside. Dave and Janet were also very helpful and sorted out a small issue with the apartment within 4 hours for me - great service ! Would recommend this as a good place to stay in Fort Collins.

CLEAN, CHARMING, UNIQUE, ... ALL IS GOOD!

  • 5 of 5
Perfect! Beats the heck out of staying in a hotel room. We checked in on Tuesday and checked out on Sunday. Five superb nights, excellent location about a block southeast of Old Town. Everything was clean and charming at the "Turk House". The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The flat screen and internet worked perfect. The kitchen is updated and modern with plenty of glasses, cups, and utensils. The bathroom is an adventure and unique but perfectly clean and usable. The shower is in an old bathtub with claw feet. (I think they were claw feet? HA!) The patio was nice with a little table and chairs. We would definitely stay here again! AAA+++

WINTER WEEKEND

  • 4 of 5
Spent the weekend here with my wife and BIL. Lots of character! Charming place close to everything and so comfy. Well stocked, clean, and inviting. Bathroom and kitchen were VERY small, but we are small people, so it was OK. Shower was temperamental, but the learned its quirks quickly. Walls are thin so you can hear noise from outside and upstairs, but we are not light sleepers.

We would stay here again.

Owner's Response: Glad you had a nice time at our vintage apartment, quirks and all! To stay in Old Town, close to everything, almost always means a vintage property, as opposed to a brand new room on the south end of town. Sure wish it was new but then it wouldn't be as charming. Hope to see you again!

GOOD LOCATION, BUT SMALL AND DUSTY

  • 2 of 5
My boyfriend and I loved the location of this house. It was easy to walk to Old Town, and the owners were nice and responsive. It was much smaller than we were expecting however, and the bathroom was especially problematic as it was tiny and had a clawfoot tub that was somewhat difficult to get into and out of. The only mirror in the place was a small one over the sink. A full-length mirror somewhere would be very helpful. The corners and blinds were very dusty. The property is somewhat dark and the windows were really dirty. I think cleaning them would brighten things up considerably. On the plus side, it was decorated nicely.

Owner's Response: thanks for your comments on our vintage apartment. It sounds like some things were cause for comments, I wish when I had talked to you on the phone that you had mentioned them, so that I could have taken care of them. Most of the blinds are new, wide slat, custom blinds. The mini blinds appeared fine to me as well. The windows are large as was the style from that vintage time frame and let in ample light. The floor plan is on the website and it accurately shows the layout and also the pics show the claw foot tub. We have a notebook in the apartment that says to notify us immediately if something is not acceptable. We have had a lot of comments saying how clean it was. We even air dry the sheets for that summer fresh smell that is so great. We are always available to help and address any issues in our apartment, if we are given the opportunity.
