The old Spanish market town of Pego is in an unspoilt area of Orange trees and the apartment has spectacular hillside views. The centre (10 minutes walk away) has an extensive choice of shopping facilities, including banks, internet cafe and large supermarkets. It also boasts some excellent restaurants, serving tapas and a varied selection of typical Spanish cuisine. There is a superb sandy beach just 10 minutes drive in Oliva and the resorts of Denia and Javea are 15/20 minutes. Vergel safari park is only 5 minutes drive. Golf - Pego is located close to the course at Oliva Nova Golf Resort which has been designed by Seve Ballesteros and has 18 holes. Also, La Sella is surrounded by mountains and has been designed by Jose Maria Olazabal. 30 minute drive to 'Aqualandia' water park and 'Terra Mittica' theme park in Benidorm, where there are ample tourist attractions, international cuisine, nightclubs and bars. A large Shopping centre (Centro Comercial La Marina) is 10 minutes drive.

Wonderful tranquil Spanish village in a delightful location in the north Costa Blanca with a year round warm temperature. Vergel Safari Park only 4km, Oliva unspoilt beaches 7km, Javea only 25 minutes drive, a seaside resort of bars and nice restaurants. Benidorm 40 minutes drive and is voted one of Europes best holiday destinations - it has everything for everyone of any age, there is a good expatriate community, the season is all year round, unlike many of other spots in Spain and major water parks, Terra Mettica, Terra Natura and Aqualandia Aquatic Park. The Beach is voted one of the cleanest around and goes on for miles - if you want quiet go to Poniente; if you like the night life go Lavente and visit the old town, great spots for a bite to eat or few beers. Other places of interest, Pego-Oliva has a nature reserve with numerous species of fish and aquatic birds. Denia is a sea-port 20 minutes drive with direct boats to Ibiza and other Balearic Islands if this is of interest.

Golf: Designed and built by Seve Ballesteros, the Oliva Nova Golf Club course extends to around 50 hectares. It is a par 72 links course of 6,350 m with a slope of 120, the main characteristic of which is that 15 of its 18 holes include water obstacles. The only holes that have no water obstacles are numbers 2, 13 and 14. This is a technical course over gently undulating ground. It is easy to walk, and adheres to the traditional formula of four par 3's, four par 5's and ten par 4's, where good strokes are rewarded and bad ones are not, and, as Seve himself says: 'This course offers great possibilities to all golfers, as it has short, medium and long holes, and fairways with left and right doglegs. I think it poses a challenge to any golfer.' The amen corner of the course is at the 13th, 14th and 15th holes, where strategy and the wind are determining factors. To date, the course has hosted various official competitions, including tournaments for Spanish professional players An alternative is La Sella golf course only 20 minutes drive in the Denia Marriot golf resort and spa.
