Roll into the 25 metre pool from your luxury 3 bedroom condo villa located on “Millionaire’s Mile” next to the high-end Banyan Tree Resort / Laguna Resort five-star golf course (host of the Thai Golf Open and Asean Foreign Ministers meeting). Surrounded on three sides by sliding glass doors onto terracotta tiled balconies, relax on deck chairs overlooking floral gardens, palm and casuarinas trees, the large children’s wading and separate adult pools and of course, Andaman Sea sunsets. Our brand new modern condo villas (we have two) are part of a small mixed condo/villa development called Chom Tawan. With teak wood floors, wood panelled interiors, ceiling fans (air conditioners as well should the air flow across all the sliding doors be insufficient), king beds, large en suite terrazzo bathrooms, spacious living and dining rooms, fully equipped kitchen, all furnished in modern Thai style with accents from around the country you may never want to go outside but that would be a shame.

Just 100 meters away is Bang Tao/Layan Beach inviting you to swim in the waves, stroll an hour or so along the length of its 6 km shores (absent of the rows of umbrellas one finds on the packaged tour beaches of Patong, Kata, or Karon), relax enjoying a few hundred baht Thai beach massage or enjoy fresh lobster and a pina colada at one on the many Thai beach restaurants. Or perhaps wander up the road to hit some tennis balls, play a round of golf, take a pontoon through the canals of Laguna Resort, or enjoy a high-end meal at any of Banyan Tree, Sheraton, Dusit, or Laguna Beach Resorts. Venturing further on the island you can partake in scuba diving, sailing the Andaman Sea or Phang Nga Bay, kayaking caverns, white water rafting, elephant riding, horseback riding along the beach, pampering at spas, shopping at Phuket Central Festival in Patong, be entertained by the Phuket Fantasea carnival and show, marvel at the Stunt Man Show, or dine at the endless restaurants on the island.

    Discounts are available for monthly stays and special rates are available for long term rentals.
    As this is a luxury rental, a security deposit of 400 euros or 20% of rental (whichever is higher) forms your deposit which will be returned after your exit assuming no breakages or damages.
    Electricity beyond standard usage is extra and will be deducted from security deposit (we have had to do this to guard against people leaving the AC on with all the outside doors open - have not charged anyone since this term put into effect).
    25% Deposit to secure reservation; Full payment is required six weeks prior to the start of your rental.
    Payment is listed in Euros but can be made in other currencies.

There is a 15 second walk to the pool from either the master or poolside bedroom (sorry, it is a 20 second walk for those in the White Elephant bedroom). There is a personal safe in the master bedroom.

We stayed at Chom Tawan November 5th to 14th 2009. The condo/villa was gorgeous, every need met. Total luxury. A very quiet place, which was wonderful. The beach was unspoiled. The restaurants on the beach were great and easy to walk to. Shopping and amenities were not far to get to.

Jenny and Gordon are great hosts, I would highly recommend this little piece of paradise.
