3 bedroom waterfront luxury lodge sleeping 6/7 set in stunning scenery

This is luxury self catering in spacious accommodation near Loch Tay in the heart of the wonderful Perthshire countryside. Situated on the edge of a beautiful highland lochan and surrounded by the Glengoulandie Country Park, lodge is part of an exclusive 16 unit development and have been built and furnished to an exceptionally high standard with comfort, warmth and luxury in mind. Open plan living room with double height ceiling and a balcony overlooking your own loch. Oak flooring with underfloor heating, comfortable leather sofas, a fully equipped kitchen with top of the range appliances and a relaxed dining area give the lodge a stylish contemporary feel. Three very spacious bedrooms all with fitted wardrobes and luxury en suites and a master bedroom with its own French doors leading to a waterside balcony. This lodge makes for the perfect holiday and with a stocked trout loch and Glengoulandie Deer Park on the doorstep the temptation might be not to go too far away!

Other activities: White water rafting, archery, off roading, quad biking, paintballing, clay pigeon shooting and many other activities are available near by.

The surrounding area offers a wide range of activities including white water rafting, golfing, quad biking and clay pigeon shooting. Loch Tay offers sailing and fishing whilst hill walkers can conquer Schiehallion and Ben Lawers two of the many munroes in the area. With the festival town of Pitlochry, Blair Castle, and the fair city of Perth all nearby, Highland Perthshire caters for all interests and tastes. The picturesque town of Aberfeldy is only 7 miles away, with antique and book shops, golf course, putting green, tennis courts and rafting. Cycling, horse riding and watersports are also available locally as are plenty places to visit: Glengoulandie Country Park and Deer Park, Crannog Centre, Aberfeldy Distillery, Highland Adventure Safaris and gold panning visitors centre, Castle Menzies, Cluny House Gardens

Golf: There is a whole range of courses to play locally for all abilities including Aberfeldy, Kenmore, Killin, Strathtay and Taymouth Castle. However there are some more challenging and prestigious championship courses to play within a reasonable drive including Gleneagles, St Andrews and Carnoustie.

Ski: Skiing is available from late December to around Easter. Glenshee Ski Centre is only 1hrs drive from the lodge. Glenshee's impressive 21 lifts and 36 runs offer an amazing diversity of natural terrain for all standards of skiers and snowboarders. Cairngorms Ski Centre is also within driving distance.

What an absolutely stunning place and lodge to stay. Spotless and very well equipped lodge. Home from home. Perfect for seeing Scotland's countryside if that's what your after but ours was just to relax and take time out from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Teenage son said he thought he would be bored out in the middle of no where but suprised himself at how much fun being at the water could be. Kirsteen and Scott have a beautiful place. Thank you

What a great property and location

Second visit to Glengoulandie and once again we had a brilliant time, location fab, facilities and lodge are perfect, great condition and furnished to a high standard, go here as you won't be disappointed, great for exploring Perthshire, plenty to do for the everyone and our kids had a ball.

We will be back for another visit for sure.

my wife and 3 kids stayed in this lodge for a cold weekend in february. i have rented numerous houses, villas and lodges in the past and this was the most cosy and sumptuous we have stayed in.the facilities were first class and i would thoroughly recommend it for a nice relaxing weekend/week especially with kids or for a romantic break.

Mums birthday treat

My sister and I took our mum here for her Birthday. Everything was described to a T on the website, the facilities, layout were fantastic.

The property was so clean, you couldnt get it any cleaner and very well maintained. Everything was like a 5 star hotel. The views were lovely.

The owner was very helpful and did provide the service we expected.

We didnt do any activities as my mum is 81 we thought it a bit much, we just enjoyed the peace and quiet, just to relax was great.

Would recommend this to everyone.

My friends and I booked the lodge for a girls' weekend away and it was the perfect retreat. The lodge exceeded our expectations in both comfort and standard of facilities. It was absolutely fantastic. The lodge was extremely well-maintained and absolutely spotless. We all particularly liked the underfloor heating and having 3 en-suites was brilliant. The view from the lodge was amazing especially watching the red deer on the hills whilst we were having breakfast and the ducks playing in the lochan. I would definitely recommend it to anyone just looking for place to relax away from all the stress of city living. We are already talking about rebooking for next year!
