il Faé is very handy for Venice, Treviso, Asolo and Cortina d'Ampezzo. Venice is 45km away, Treviso 20km - each city has an airport. By road, it's easy to reach Il Faé: take the A27 Motorway (Autostrada d'Alemagna) and follow the signs to San Pietro di Feletto. There is also a bus transfer available to/from nearby Conegliano railway station

Outside, our traditional Italian holiday villa comprises a wonderful garden,2 outdoor swimming pools, and our own vineyards. We even have two large barbecue grills for your own outdoor cooking. The complex is 2 separated units: Faè 2 ,3 bedrooms villa, and Faè 1 , a 5 bedrooms accommodation. Each villa has his own garden and an outdoor pool !

My stay was exceptional!!! The property is beautiful, perfectly maintained, comfortable, quiet and most relaxing. Sabina is most gracious and goes out of her way to attend to the needs of her guests. She makes you feel " genuinely welcome" greeting you with a smile that is truly sincere. My sister had rented the Villa for the month of July and I joined her for 7 days with my 14 yr old granddaughter. My sister had a vehicle and drove as was her plan, but Sabina arranged a driver for me to and from Venice airport,comfortable and reasonable. It met ALL my needs. Sabina makes every effort to accommodate requests with options and suggestions. I recommend the cooking class!! Sabina is a great cook..the food was great and not difficult..!! Area is great for hiking,casual dining local areas,markets,local shopping-free overnite parking at train station for trips to other areas OR just day trips. I would rate this a 10 on scale 1/10. !!!! Bella Villa!

My visit to Il Fae was fantastico! Sabina and Salvatore are gracious hosts. The grounds are beautiful-and the views are outstanding. The house has great charm and was very comfortable. Local grocery store nearby ( two minutes walking time). We discovered lots of local flavor. Visit Refrontolo ( a very short distance from the villa). Several restaurants to choose from. Conegliano is only 15 minutes drive from Il Fae. From there, you can take the train to just about anywhere in Italy. Venice is only an hour away via train. Asolo is half an hour or so west and is worth visiting. So many good things to say about my stay here. If you want a true Italian experience, visit this place. I took away more memories from Il Fae and San Pietro di Feletto than from any other city I visited while in Italy. La villa e splendida!

reasonable distance from top spots in the region

A spectular stay in a special part of Italy

Our week at Il Fae Villa was simply wonderful - the setting of the villa overlooks a breathtaking view of rolling hills sprinkled with vineyards with the backdrop of the larger mountains leading to the Dolomites. Pictures don't give credit to the beauty of the surroundings. A well located spot sufficiently central to various day trips to special places, whether to towns nestled in the hills or down to Venice. After a day of sightseeing, our family (with three kids, ages 6-12) returned to the villa and enjoyed a swim, taking in the view. Convenient walking distance to local store for groceries, or restaurants nearby. Sabina is a wonderful hostess, sharing many tips on where to go and what to see. Friendly dogs and cats abound the property. The villa is clean, plenty of space, the kitchen is very simple/minimal but we managed fine with preparing our dinners. Don't forget to buy Sabina's tasty wine, a daily complement to our evening meals! Highly recommend this spot and region of Italy, and hope to return ourselves soon...

A DREAM COME TRUE

To all contemplating a visit to Il Fae..... stop.. just GO.

I am having a hard time not writing about this place in poetic phrases- let us just say that it was everything I had dreamed northern Italy to be and more.

What you expect: beautiful scenery, great wine, lovely architecture, long, slow, decadent dinners, peace, comfort... yes yes yes.

What you don't: a lovely family with great knowledge of the area and charisma to spare.

Everything you could want from a country Italian getaway, be sure Il Fae provides. Il Fae has something for everyone.
