Guyzance Hall is a beautiful gentleman's residence surrounded by landscaped gardens and an 800 acre estate with breathtaking views. With easy access from A1, rail stations and Newcastle airport, it is the perfect venue for relaxing breaks, reunions, parties and special occasions. Tastefully refurbished, Guyzance Hall retains a timeless elegance but with modern luxuries. There are 12 bedrooms, all double or twin with en-suite or private bathrooms, individually decorated to the highest standards. The ground floor comprises the large Drawing Room with open fire and doors leading onto the lawn, intimate Library, elegant wood panelled Dining Room and magnificent Edwardian Ballroom with minstrels' gallery. There is also a spacious Kitchen, Breakfast Room and Games Room. Outside are lawns, topiary and walled gardens, plus extensive woodland and the River Coquet, ideal for sporting and leisure activities. There is also a tennis court and indoor swimming pool on the estate.

Guyzance Hall is located in the beautiful countryside of Northumberland, with its numerous castles, dramatic coastal scenery, sandy beaches and rolling hills. Nestled between the Northumbria National Park and the coast, there is plenty to do for all ages. Northumberland has more castles and fortifications than any other county in England and is steeped in history. With nearby attractions such as Alnwick Castle, better known as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films, Bamburgh Castle, Hadrian's Wall and the island of Lindisfarne, you will never be short of places to visit. Guyzance Estate itself also has plenty of things to do with walks for all abilities, salmon and trout fishing on our private stretch of the River Coquet and an abundance of wildlife to see. We can also arrange shooting, archery and quad biking. The Estate has an indoor heated swimming pool and tennis court, shared with the holiday cottages. Further afield you will find golf, horse riding, sailing and water sports.

Fishing: Within Guyzance Estate we have 3 and half miles of bank along the River Coquet which guests of the Hall and Cottages can fish for an additional cost. Some of England's best salmon and sea trout fishing can be found in this river and we have an experienced ghillie on hand to advise and help beginners. We recommend the river is fished with no more than 4 rods at a time and prices start from £125 per person for a weekend (3 days). The best fishing at Guyzance can be had between July and September depending on river levels.

Extras: If you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary during your stay at Guyzance Hall, or perhaps just having a reunion with family or friends, you might want to take advantage of the fabulous surroundings by throwing a party, hosting a dinner or organising a fun activity.
