Charming and cozy

  • 5 of 5
My fiance and I stayed here as we had a wedding in town and wanted to save some money. Callender House was so perfect for us as it was so close to town, we were able to walk to breakfast and even where I booked a salon appointment. We did some Uber rides to the wedding events, which were only ever $5.
The home is so adorable and loved the cozy nautical decor. We had more than enough space between the bedroom, sitting room, bathroom, and kitchenette. Only thing I would recommend is greater access to drinking water as we had to buy bottled water, although the owners did provide some.

Cozy Comfort

  • 4 of 5
The location was indeed excellent! It is just a few short blocks from restaurants, cafe's, shops, and historical sites. Our hosts were accommodating and friendly. The bedroom and living area were nicely decorated and very comfortable. Our only disappointment was there was no ice available for cold drinks nor anywhere to store it if purchased. A small fridge and microwave was the extent of the kitchen and it was just a bit too cramped. We would stay here again if visiting Newport for a day or 2.

Spotless Getaway

  • 4 of 5
This property is spotlessly clean and very well furnished and decorated. They have used the space available so well. Walk to centre of Newport, shops, restaurants. Wasn't too sure about the area when we arrived but it was fine. Met Keverne who was a lovely lady. Would return again.

Great Find!

  • 5 of 5
Came to Newport for 4 nights to attend a wedding. To find a rental like this, at this price, in the middle of July was incredible! The place is gorgeously decorated! Small but so well appointed! The owners have thought of everything. We just loved it and will be back! Be sure to walk to the Corner Cafe for the most excellent breakfasts!!

Great place to stay while visiting Newport!

  • 5 of 5
Great location. Just about a 5 minute walk to the center of Thame St. The house was super cute and they did an amazing job decorating it. It was super clean and had snacks, Kureg, and a mini fridge. The bed was huge and super comfy. My boyfriend and I went for a long weekend. The owners were super nice and greeted us when we arrived. Check in time was at 3 but we arrived early around noon and they let us park the car at the house while we walked down to Thame St. When we came back a little before 3pm, they said it was all set for us to use. They also let us keep our bikes in their shed when we weren't using them. We will definitely be returning next summer!
