Situated approximately 120 km from Cape Town, in the heart of the whale route, the seaside town of Hermanus in Walker Bay offers one of the best land based whale watching in the world (June - November).

Olive Tree County House is nestled at the entrance to the Hemel en Aarde Valley wine region, five minutes from the center of Hermanus. This self catering/Bed & Breakfast property offers wide open spaces and spectacular mountain views that equates to peaceful getaways for families and friends.

Four beautifully appointed double bedrooms sleeps eight guests with two tasteful bathrooms, both with bath and shower. The lounge area with fireplace, opens onto the swimming pool patio with glorious country views of the mountain and stream.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • These rates exclude:

    Telephone calls.

    Arrangements can be made for:
    Daily service at an extra charge of R100.
    Breakfast at R75 per person.
  • We would need a 50% deposit of rental to secure the booking. Long term rental rates negotiable. Please email for booking and banking details. There will be a security deposit required upon arrival which will be given back to you when you leave. Deposit will depend upon the amount of time spent at the house.
