Breathtaking view on Mount Etna as well as Catania & Syracuse gulf

Located in a private bay, in a very quiet area, it offers all year round the possibility to enjoy the variegated and unique Sicilian scenarios, sweeping through the dreaming views of the Valle Del Bove on the top of Mount Etna to the dreaming natural maritime reserves of the surroundings like Vendicari Reserve; to be added, the proximity to Siracusa and Taormina two of the most famous location in Sicily, where you can evoke ancient cultures dating back to millenary traditions and much more to be discovered through a close look at the area.

We will give you all the suggestions to get the most and best from your stay. The house is made of a main building (for 4 people) and a secondary building (dependance for 2 people) which is used only in case of bigger families (never rented to different groups!!)

The house gives the possibility to the tourist to enjoy the beauties and the attractions of the sea and of the mountain.

From Costa Saracena, the most famous places can be easily and quickly reached: Catania, Noto, Siracusa, Mount Etna, Taormina, Ragusa, Piazza Armerina, Marzamemi, just to cite some of them. Culinary breaks are a “must” in those areas. In fact the regional Sicilian culinary tradition is here superlatively represented. From the well-known Arancini, to the famous Pasta con la Norma as well as the worldwide known Cannoli alla siciliana.

This is a very comfortable, well equipped, clean home. The outdoor spaces were wonderful, the view of Etna and Catania extraordinary and the peaceful surroundings all made for a perfect beginning to our 3 weeks in Sicily. I would recommend Villa Ester to anyone looking to relax outside the cities - although it was an easy 15 minute drive to either Augusta or to Catania.

Fantastic stay for 2 sunny weeks.
Everyday, the breakfeast on the terrasse with the view on Etna is a must.
The villa is very well equipped.
BBQ very appreciated with local sicilian products.
Good situation for visiting all around.
Special thoughts to Taormina, Militello in Val di Catania, hiking in Cave Grande di Cassibile plenty of wild orchids, Agrigente, and everywhere ...
And the warm welcome from Ester and Nando
Note: a car is absolutely necessary

Amazing place to be

I sincerely recommend this place to anyone seeking a piece of mind and real touch of Sicily. The house is great, spacious, clean and well equipped and after a day we felt at home. The terrace is huge and the view is truly amazing as you see almost the whole of the east coast and Etna in the background. The house and everything looks far better then on the images. The place is close to Syracuse and Catania so it is easy to reach everything you need and explore the area. Very close you can find both types of beaches, sandy and stone ones. We really liked the local restaurant because it was inexpensive and the food and service was great so we spent most of the evenings there although we could go to close by cities. We highly recommend this to anyone seeking a relaxed holiday. Both Nando and Ester whom we met were really friendly and welcoming so we haven't had any worries. Although it was our first time in Sicily we haven't had any problems finding the house following instructions as it is a bit off the road but very close to the shore.
