Athens Vacation Rental apartment

We would like to give a warm recommendation for this lovely apartment which has stunning views in all directions including the Acropolis and the sea. The living room and two double bedrooms (all three with their own balconies) are spacious and comfortable. The apartment is new, clean and well-maintained. We loved the peace and quiet of the location and feeling that we were part of an Athens neighbourhood – shopping in the local shops and having a terrific meal at a local taverna. (In comparison, we spent the last night of our two week holiday in central Athens – and it was extremely noisy.) To get from the apartment into central Athens, take either bus number 111 or 112 from a street nearby (Odos Souliou) to get to the metro station Daphni and then take the metro into the centre. (Be sure to get your bus/metro ticket in advance as you can’t buy them on the bus.) We did this throughout our four day visit without any problems. We had excellent communication with the landlord, Persi, and his brother, Kostas, gave us a very kind and helpful tour around the flat and the neighbourhood on our arrival. We would definitely recommend staying at this apartment for a relaxing visit to Athens.
