CHARMINGLY SECLUDED COTTAGE/BOATHOUSE ON DUCK LAKE SLEEPS FOUR.

Mike & Claudia - Thank you again for offering your quaint cottage on Duck Lake to us. She lived up to her namesake of "Morning Glory", and much more! We had a fantastic time at the cottage and exploring Northern Michigan.

Each morning we were greeted by a spectacular sunrise, the sounds of loons, and the excitement of catching a few fish. During the day, we enjoyed roaming the coastline villages, combing though shoppes and boutiques, visiting cheery orchards and wineries, and admiring the unique and spectacular nature at Sleeping Bear Dunes. We also took daily swims to refresh ourselves after our excursions. The evenings offered us a relaxing reflection of the day's activities sitting by the fire and gazing at the stars.

I think that our dog, Trinity, may have had the most fun of all taking in all the sights, sounds, and smells of the area! She woudl exhaust herself trying to track down one of those elusive chimpmunks, barking for us to catch a fish on every cast, stopping at every water dish on our village walks, and learning to swim. When we returned home, she slept for two days in recovery! When she sleeps, we can see her dreams of her escapades on Duck Lake.

Your hospitality was second to none! All the advice you gave us for the "can't miss" places was the perfect way to lead us to places of beauty, treasure, and pleasure. We were able to find the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure! Your special touches of root beer floats and the snack gift basket were treats that we couldn't have anticipated. And your neighbors on the lake and town of Interlocken warmly welcomed us with a smile, friendly advice, and "come back and see us again".
