The house is beautifully located in a spa town with facilities for thalassotherapy treatments, a ski area, riding stables within a five minute drive, an endless possibility for walks and excursions, a newly constructed public thermal outdoor pool just a few minutes stroll from the house, a very beautiful old park with a swan lake, tennis courts and minigolf, a concert hall with top artist appearances and a cinema showing recent original version English/American films...all within a five minute stroll from the house. Among a large variety of interesting events organised during the year, Trencianske Teplice is also host to the famous annual International Art Film Festival held during the last week of June and a National Handicrafts Fair held in July.
