Formerly owned by Universal Pictures the villa breathes the ancient glory of the sixties when the house was the refuge for people like Alfred Hitchcock, Errol Flynn, Maurice Chevalier, Marlene Dietrich, Cary Grand, Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, James Stewart, and Leslie Caron, to name but a few.
The villa has a total of 800m2 on two levels and an additional 500m2 roof terrace with 180 degrees sea views. The house has direct access to a secluded beach and the plot that it sits on is 3200m2. Mediterranean Blue is one of the few properties on the island to have its own private disco room with sound system, CD mixers, lighting chill out snug!
6 double bedrooms can sleep up to 12, large communal areas, seating for plenty in the dining room and lots more outside. The impressive 20m cocktail bar (which is fitted with fridges to keep your drinks cool) provides uninterrupted views of Punta Arabi & Es Canar. Large day beds and plenty of sun loungers ensure you are able to relax and enjoy your time in Ibiza next to a great pool. There is high speed internet, a TV & surround sound in the Living room and our Cinema room with projector & an extensive library of movies for all tastes & ages.
The industrial kitchen has 5 meters of fridge space, a professional oven with gas stove and griddle. You won't be disappointed!
The villa is situated 5 minutes drive north of the lovely port of Santa Eulalia del Rio, which is a nice town with a yachting harbour and is surrounded by the most beautiful beaches on the island. In Santa Eulalia you will find numerous shops, bars, restaurants and can enjoy walks by the sea along the promenade. There are many restaurants to choose from, providing for all tastes & budgets.
The villa is 5 minutes walk from the beautiful cove of Es Canar, a sandy, family friendly beach with numerous water activities and beach bars. The resort of Es Canar also has plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and activities such as Acrobosc (A high-wire adventure in the trees) and the famous Nikki Beach exclusive bar/restaurant. Both of which can be walked to within 10 minutes. A slightly longer walk will get you to Cala Nova where you can Surf if the winds right and enjoy a cocktail or two at the impressive Atzaro beach. If you're not feeling that energetic The Jacaranda is right on your doorstep. Every Wednesday the Hippie Market takes place and is great for picking up unique gifts and people watching.
Whatever your interests, be sure you can find them close by, from Paddle boarding to Kite surfing or even celeb spotting.
Should you wish to really spoil yourselves we can recommend services such as private chef's, facials, massages, taxi's, drivers etc. Just ask!
A car is not necessary during your stay, but we would recommend one so that you can explore the rest of the island.
