The 'Solar de la Botica ' property is a XVIII century house restored in 2005 and situated in the core of a medieval village declared Historical village in 1985.Along the Royal road there are houses ranging from XIV to XIX century. The property has an entrance door from the royal road.there is an apartment for 4 people at the ground floor with kitchenette, dining room with sofa bed and suite with bedroom and complete bathroom. the upper floor has two duplex apartments with dining room-kitchenette and with an iron staircase that gives access to the bedroom and the complete bathroom.This two apartments share the main balcony. All the apartments are fully equiped with refrigerator, micro-waves,wash machine, towels, blankets, table service, TV. Cartes is a village with 600 inhabitants but fully equiped: pharmacy, supermarket, sports resort, restaurants etc. The highway that links with santander (26 km) is 400m from the house and is a perfect place for relaxing and enjoy country life.

The ground floor apt is around 60sq m fully equiped and with the charming atmosphere of a rustic house. It´s ideal for a couple and two children. Wood beams, stone and rustic furniture joint with the many details that will help to provide customers with a comfortable stay. The equipment include refrigerator, micro oven, coffee pot, washing machine and dress drier.

Cartes is in the geographical center of Cantabria province with very good communications links by road, train and aeroplane. Cartes has a wide variety of places for visiting: national parks, sky stations(45 km) the world known village of Santillana del Mar, sandy beaches of santillana, Oyambre, Jerra with facilities for water sports.The gastronomy is well known with sea food and excellent dishes that can be tasted in many restaurants around reasonably priced.Cartes is by the mountains and by the sea, the nearest beach is 15 minutes driving and for those who loves prehistoric caves, it´s worth a visit to the Puente San Miguel group where 3-4 caves are open daily all the year around.The cabuerniga valley is worth a visit with virgin countryside views, fine restaurants and quite places for relax,walking and feel the history of this old land. Santander city was a summer resort for the King of Spain and aristocracy in early XX c. Its a nice city with summer festivals (music, theatre).

Notes: The ground floor apt has easy access from street.from the dining room there are two steps that give access to the bathroom and bedroom. The parking's are public and free 50 m from the house. Communal pool is located in an old manor house that is today the townhall with a large green surface 50 m from the house. Paddle, basketball and football resort is 120m from the house ideal for kids and walkways has been designed in last years by the river besaya. We love animals so pets are welcomed to the apartments and Cartes is surrounded by pathways where to stroll around with dogs.
