Situated only 4.5 km from the village centre, Tamarisk is a beautiful family farmhouse located near the UN protected area of S'Albufera of Es Grau, a birdwatchers' paradise. It has a large pool and barbecue area and the main house comprises a spacious entrance hall, sitting room with Sky TV, sun room, separate dining room, fully-equipped kitchen and 2 en-suite bedrooms (1 twin, 1 double). At the back of the property there is a separate wing with a self-contained 2-bedroom apartment sleeping 4 to 6, in addition to an adjoining double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and its own entrance. The house and gardens are surrounded by peaceful farmland to ensure your privacy and making it the perfect location to enjoy the tranquility of the Menorcan countryside. It is a short drive away from the pretty fishing village of Es Grau with its lovely sandy beach and shallow water, ideal for young children. It is 10 minutes by car to the waterside cafés, restaurants and bars of Mahon harbour.

Es Grau is a typical Menorca fishing village, unspoilt and secluded in a nature reserve. There are three bars, one waterside restaurant, a well stocked supermarket and numerous beaches, which are 'very safe' for children and clean clear warm water makes it ideal for snorkeling and there are good facilities for wind surfing and other water sports. The large nature reserve of S'Albufera and surrounding countryside is ideal for walkers and explorers with unspoilt trails and superb views. Although secluded in its own bay, it is only 6.5 kilometres from Mahon Harbour where there are numerous restaurants, bars and nightlife. The picturesque Son Parc championship quality golf course, ideal for beginners and experienced golfers alike, is located just 15 minutes away by car, a few hundred metres from the award winning Son Parc beach on the north coast of Menorca.

    FREE RENTAL CAR INCLUDED IN STAY DURING DECEMBER.
  • For smaller parties of 6 - 8 guests, there is the option to rent the two-bedroom self-contained apartment in the guest wing adjoining the main house (either on its own or together with the additional en-suite bedroom) from September to May. Prices range from 400 - 600 euros per week with full use of the swimming pool, BBQ and gardens
  • The property is cleaned through once a week and the towels and bedlinen changed. This is included in the price.
    Additional maid service, a personal chef and baby sitting service can be arranged at an extra charge.
    A cot and high chair are provided free of charge.
    50% of rental rate due at time of booking. Remaining 50% to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.
