Paliostafitha is a four bedroom newly built traditional stone villa sleeping eight. Downstairs is a large living area and adjacent dining area tastefully furnished. It opens up through a stone arch to a fully equipped modern kitchen complete with fridge freezer, drinks fridge, dishwasher. The washing machine is in the utility room next door to ensure minimum noise. An en suite bedroom has a large four poster and its own terrace with views that can be enjoyed from bed. A downstairs w/c shower leads off entrance. Upstairs are three more bedrooms all with spectacular views. One has its own terrace, another en suite and one more large wet room leads off the landing. The large infinity pool, terraced and secluded landscaped gardens are settled within easy view of the house. The many terraces allow great al fresco living with barbecue and sun loungers. A decked meditation area under shade of olive trees allows complete relaxation and uninterrupted tranquility.

Nearest Ferry: St Nicolas at 3 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 3 Kilometres

Paliostafitha is set between olive groves on a peaceful mountain with spectacular sea and sweeping coastal views. Nearby are local beaches and tavernas. The villa is very close to the ferry port of St Nicolas and the arts and craft mountain town of Volimes. The island has beautiful year round flora and fauna including wild orchids, mountain meadows, breeding sea turtles and non stop sea and mountain views. Boat trips to ship wreck cove and sparkling blue caves go from St Nicholas Port. Walks are aplenty with monasteries, amazing geology and wildlife. The villa is on the quieter unspoiled northern end of the island. The island allows for all the normal sea activities, as well as having the pleasant main shopping/chilling port of Zakynthos Town. The islands size is just right for those one or two days sightseeing (if you can drag yourselves away from the serenity of the villa).

A little piece of Paradise

We visited Paliostafitha last year...and wow what a holiday!The villa is beautiful,spacious and tastefully furnished throughout with views that any photo just can't do justice.The owners were more than helpful with good clear directions,tips on good supermarkets and lots of info on local attractions and favourite restaurants-we paricularly liked "The Luna Bar"and "La Storia "at the nearby Port where sitting at the waters edge we watched the children snorkel in the clear safe waters.Take a boat trip out to the Blue Caves from the port or with Captain Yiannis from Mikro Nissi both equally amazing..or watch the sunset over Shipwreck Bay.
The property did not fail to impress with plenty of space to find your own quiet corner, lie back in a hammock and relax....There are some places you go on holiday ,enjoy,but rarely think of again ...and then there is Paliostafitha! Can't wait to go back this year!
