Self-catering holiday apartment within walking distance of the famous and romantic Lake Bled (only 10 minutes walking distance!!!). The apartment is a part of a nice local family-owned house and sleeps 2 persons. The apartment has a kitchen with eating corner, bathroom with bath & shower, bedroom with a double bed, cable TV and wireless internet. There are 2 balconies, with a view on the surrounding mountains. The house is surrounded by picturesque views and superb walking country in an area with abundant Summer and Winter activities for the whole family. From refreshing swimming in Lake Bled in the summer, to active skiing nearby in winter or biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, golf, mountaineering etc. There are 4 ski resorts within 30 minutes drive. This beautiful country offers many sightseeing opportunities including those around the Julian Alps and the famous Triglav National Park.

Situated in the north-western part of the country, Gorenjska is the most Alpine of all Slovenian regions. It borders on Austria and Italy and is criss-crossed by well-developed transport infrastructure. The Gorenjska region is famous for its natural beauty and friendly people. Most of the region is covered by the Julian Alps with numerous peaks exceeding 2000 m. The Julian Alps and Triglav National Park are rich with plant and animal life. There are many opportunities for outdoor activities including hiking, skiing, ski-touring, rafting, paragliding, etc. Gorenjska is home to lakes Bled and Bohinj. Lake Bled was formed after the recession of the Bohinj glacier. It is up to 2120 m long and up to 1380 m wide, its maximum depth being 30.6 m. A small island in the middle of the lake is home to the Assumption of Mary Pilgrimage Church; visitors frequently ring its bell for good luck. Perched on a rock overlooking the lake is the iconic Bled Castle.

Ski: Bled has a small skiing slope suitable for beginners and children. Ski school and ski equipment can be arranged. For advanced skiers there are 3 bigger ski centers within 30 minutes driving distance: Vogel ski center in Bohinj, Krvavec ski center near the airport Ljubljana and Kranjska Gora ski center towards Austrian border.

Golf: One of the best European Golf courses - Golf course Bled is only 5 minutes away by car. Reservations and information for green fee or driving range can be arranged. Most of irons and a small training golf bag can be rented at the property upon agreement.
