Zabaldano lies 500 metres above sea-level at the southern end of Piedmont Region and Asti Province, close to the border with Liguria (which is where the Italian Riviera is); in fact, on most summer days we have a pleasant southerly breeze the locals call “marino”, i.e. “sea wind”. The farm buildings are near the top of a hill overlooking the Bormida river valley, at the end of an untarred stretch of road that ends in our yard. The view is breathtaking. To reach us you’ll drive up about 4 km from Vesime or Cessole villages, between Acqui Terme and Cortemilia; when we confirm your booking we shall send you more detailed instructions. Should you feel like exploring - and it is a must, really - you can drive to the beaches of the Italian Riviera for a day trip, or visit Alba, the truffle capital of the world, or Asti, or Turin. But most of all you should discover our “Langa” area, its timeless landscapes, art treasures, medieval hilltop villages and... Its food and drinks!
