Playa Macenas is a brand new luxury 5 * Beach and Golf resort. Surrounded by the dramatic Cabo de Gata National Park yet only 5 minutes away from Mojacar Playa with its blue flag beaches and all its restaurants and bars. This is the ideal place where there is something for everyone to enjoy. The first tee of the 18 hole golf club is only steps away as is the beach club with its stunning infinity pool and children's pool. This tastefully furnished villa, with magnificent sea views has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (all with showers, plus bath in master) and provides luxury accommodation for 6 people (no uncomfortable sofa beds!) . It is air conditioned/heated so provides comfort in whatever season. It has 6 terraces in total, including a roof terrace, a private sunbathing terrace with sun loungers,a large decked terrace outside the kitchen for outdoor eating space , as well as private terraces off two of the bedrooms. There is 24 hour security and housekeeping, welcome packs are available.

Playa Macenas is situated in Mojacar in the province of Almeria. Turn right out of the resort and you will be amongst the natural beauty of the Cabo de Gata National Park with its beautiful scenery and deserted,unspoilt beaches. Take a left out of the resort and you will find yourself in Mojacar, a town full of restaurants and shops and beach side promenades. The pretty hillside 'white village' above Mojacar is a well worth exploring and is where many artists still reside today. A bit further along the coast you will reach Garrucha, a lively fishing port with its famous fish restaurants. Just some of the other nearby excursions include;the water park in Vera ,horse riding in the Tabernas desert, and Mini Hollywood studios where many westerns have been filmed, Golf on site as well as numerous courses nearby including the Desert Springs Championship complex. If you want to try something further afield the Sierra Nevada for skiing is only 2 hours away by car as is Grenada.

There is a flat screen TV with English channels and DVD player in the living area. You also have free use of the DVD library in the villa. The dining area sits 6, and the large decked terrace outside the kitchen has a table and 6 chairs for outdoor dining. Sun-loungers are provided on the middle floor terrace for sunbathing . The exclusive owners membership provides discounted Golf fees as well as access to the Beach club with its infinity pool,Spa and fitness areas. There is free wi-fi access at the beach club too. There is also a communal pool, a few steps away, which is shared exclusively by the Casas Villas. This has a large sunbathing area and toilet facilities.
