My husband and I converted this barn ourselves along with other family members in 2004. I grew up in a small place called Richings Park, which is not far from Slough, moving to the South West when I was 16 with my family. My husband is originally from the North with family still in Cheshire & Cumbria. Having been in sales and promotions for most of his working life, the challenge of converting Wagtail Cottage was a great learning curve but a very enjoyable one. We hope that you appreciate Wagtail Cottage as much as we appreciated converting it.
Samantha purchased this cottage in 2005
Why Samantha chose Totnes
We converted Wagtail as we live quite close so we are able to maintain the cottage to the specification we want.
What makes this cottage unique
Wagtail has lots of space with a hugh hall area and some lovely features including half moon window and high ceiling Dining room. Has to be stayed in to be appreciated and absolutely great for family parties.
